Capacity seems no worse than the original Dyson battery, but the hoover now spontaneously cuts out sometimes and won't respond to the trigger press for a few minutes, rendering it basically useless for normal use. Returns window closed so I have wasted my money.

The battery is supposed to be the larger, 6000mAh variety. However, pretty much straight away it started performing poorly and now, after only 3 months use is flat in 5 minutes on full power, which is less than the old, 4500mAh battery did.Poor product.

Product at moment very good (time will tell). Replacement screws a lot shorter than original Dyson screws holding battery. Originals & Replacements very fragile in screwdriver slots. Since writing this review the battery which was sold as more powerful than the Dyson original only lasts a few minutes before stopping. Absolutely rubbish replacement. A Dyson replacement carries a 2 year warranty & much more powerful. Buyers give this replacement a wide berth.

The original battery doesn't last long especially on max setting, so though I would buy a battery that on specs should last twice as long, honestly got 5 minutes on max setting before it run out, that's worth than the original battery, the screw driver that came with it is also a waste of time and went straight in the bin, which probably means I can't return it!

The Battery was ok at start but 3 months later will only last long enough to do one room on Max power setting, waste of money so I’m having to buy an OME Dyson battery for £70 but that will have a 2 year guarantee

Definitely recommended. So easy to swap out and the battery life is superb! Makes you wonder why Dyson fitted such a small battery in the first place! 🤷‍♂️
