I purchased the black z71 2 years ago in 2022. My son loves it and had a great time the self control and remote options is great.I lost the charge but finally found the charging cable after about 1 year. So the battery was completely dead and wouldn’t hold a charge. No big deal, I ordered a replacement battery for 22 dollars, installed it, charged for a few hours and the truck was ready to go. This is great truck , definitely recommend it and the battery replacement is cheap.Oh the assembly part was easy and there is a video to see if needed.

*UpdateCompany reached out and they have one of the best customer service. Told them my issues and they have shipped out a replacement without hesitation! Once I receive the replacement I’ll update my review once again. For now I’m satisfied with how they showed that they care about their customers.I purchased this kids truck back in may of this year so it hasn’t been used a lot, the truck worked fine and now it doesn’t want to move even after charging the truck. Only the headlights and the horn and stuff work on it but when you press on the pedal the truck doesn’t do anything and doesn’t want to move. Now I’m out for the price of the truck and I have a screaming toddler that wants to use his truck and he can’t! I hope I can get help from the seller as Amazon doesn’t want to step in to make things right. I’ve tried contacting the seller directly but have been unsuccessful. Beware of this truck the reviews may seem great but it’s truly not.

Once again I am writing a review on this truck. I rated it a one because I couldn’t go lower.I purchased this truck for my grandson‘s birthday. I Purposely bought it Two months early in case there was a problem with it, I would have time to fix the problem. His birthday Was yesterday August 18, And the truck is still not working. The problem is the battery. When we got the truck we charged it for 10 hours As instructed to do, After the 10 hours, we put the battery into the truck and it did not work. At the time I wrote my first review. (See below.). The Company agreed to give us our money back. They did Reimburse size $20. They never offered to replace the battery, and we tried to buy one from Amazon, we could not find one. I wanted to return the truck, but my daughter in law said it took her so long to assemble she didn’t want to disassemble it to send it back. After looking all over my son finally found a battery for the truck. He had to order it, and it was not here in time for my grandson‘s birthday. He couldn’t use the truck on his birthday. Beware, if you buy this toy truck they will not place the battery, and it is a pain in the behind to get one. I do not recommend!Company said they would give me a full refund on the price of the truck. Ended giving me $20 back. I guess what they really meant was refund for battery. That’s ok with me. Never expected a full refund on the truck, but don’t say something and not honor it. I think they should just send a better battery with the truck, as so many people have problems. If you buy this truck, have a spare battery ready so your little one isn’t disappointed when the original doesn’t work.UODATE: Company did end up contacting me. They gave me a refund for a new battery, and also offered to refund the full price of the truck. I would recommend this company. Great customer service.I decided to purchase this truck even after reading all the reviews that said so many people were having trouble with the battery. The reason I did purchase it is because a lot people said that the company had made it right. When the truck arrived my daughter in law charged the battery for 10 hours as required in the directions. Nothing! It did not work! I called Amazon, and they sent a request to the company asking them to replace the battery. Amazon told me if the company did not respond in 3 days to call Amazon back. The company never responded. They did not make it right. Amazon told me I could return the truck, but after it taking so long to assemble, and then charging it for 10 hours we were not about to un assemble it to return it. My son willBuy a new battery. Amazon was not at all at fault. They did give me a partial refund toward the purchase of a new battery.

We got this truck for our 3 and 5 year olds. They have a power wheels, but they definitely prefer playing with this truck. It is smaller and zippier, and they love the extras, like the headlights that turn on and the steering wheel buttons that make sounds, and the tailgate that drops down. It drives well on both sidewalks and the grass.We love having the remote and being able to drive them around ourselves, it’s fun for parents too- like an XL RC car. They love holding onto the sides and being driven just as much as driving themselves.It was quick to assemble, took maybe 15 minutes and the battery was ready to go and they played with it the rest of the day. So far, we have charged it nightly and it lasts as long as they play the next day.They love this truck so much we may end up getting a second for Christmas :) definitely recommend!

I’m very disappointed in my purchase. I bought this truck for my sons 1st birthday. Assembly was pretty straight forward and easy, I charged for the entire 10-12 hours as recommended but even when fully charged the truck does not work. Tried the manual (pedal) as well as the remote control to see if anything would work but zero luck. Sat here and tried to troubleshoot any and all possibilities to get it working for 2 days, again no luck. My son’s birthday was yesterday and unfortunately he didn’t get an awesome ride-on toy like I had hoped, instead he received a motionless truck :( I’m hoping this company stands behind their product and will help me replace with a working vehicle for my son.UPDATE***2 days later i was contacted by someone from the company who took the time to talk to me and help me fix the situation. Appears I just received a bad unit (it happens from time to time, it’s inevitable) which I totally understand. Instead of making excuses, these guys stood behind their product and shipped me a new truck for my son right away. I can’t wait to get him rolling in style! Will update again once we receive the new working truck.

Truck worked great for a while but the battery went dead. I contacted customer service and received a prompt answer. I was shipped a new battery that fixed the problem. Also, got a direct call from the owner on my cell phone apologizing and promising to make it right. I appreciated the personal communication and will continue using the company.
