THESE ARE THE ONES YOU ARE LOOKING FOR!
If you are like me and received 2-3 thick metal business cards with your laser engraver machine, and you have been buying others online only to find out that they are paper thin, then these are the ones you have been looking for! I purchased others stating their thickness, only to find out they were way too thin (let's say Business Card thickness). I finally located these and had to grab them for testing. They are thick (let's say Credit Card thickness). They are individually sleeved for protection. They did not come stacked like the advertisement image, but in individual sleeves. I forcefully bent a card to test its durability, and just so you know, you won't readily get it back into shape if you bend one! I could hear some "crackling" as if a protective film was also added which would match the advertisement images, but was not able to locate a peel off area. I also used tape to see if they could find the film, but I was still unable to. I figured since they were individually wrapped, they didn't have a film over either side. I then used a razor blade to lightly scratch both sides and confirmed that they are not also coated with a removable film. They do scratch to a silver undercoating. These would work perfectly in your CNC or Laser Engraver, and I'm going to toss in the one I scratched and bent to run some material testing to see how much power is required for these on my 20W laser. Thank you to the Patelai Store for entering PROPER thicknesses for all of us who have been looking for these thicker cards! You only get 30 cards in the 30-pack, but these are "rated" to be placed into your wallet and not bend easily.

Inconsistent Quality of Metal Surface Beneath Anodization - BE WEARY IF USING LASER
I bought these a while ago but just tried laser engraving them yesterday. I used one as a test piece to find the optimal settings, it looked okay so I tried another with some slight adjustments and it looked a little bit better than the first but the engraved portions were still not very bright with a little bit of striations/banding in the metal. I adjusted the DPI to a higher value, ran another test piece, and it looked pretty good so I ran a batch of 20. It turns out that it is not my laser or settings which was causing the problem, the metal itself must have impurities or an inadequate surface finish (possibly machining marks?) before anodizing. Most of the cards (maybe 15 out of the 20) had horrendous banding/striations in the engraved sections and inconsistent coloring(most very dark), of the remaining 5 acceptable ones, really only two were bright and easily legible, the other 3 were still very dark. If you are mechanically engraving these, they might be fine - but if you intend to laser engrave them and do not have a fiber laser I would not recommend them. Maybe I got a bad batch, but I would be hesitant. Otherwise the thickness and weight is great, and the anodizing finish looks good - just be weary about what is underneath the anodize.

Good for Cricut engraving
I bought these to engrave using my Cricut Maker 3. They engrave very well. They’re a great thickness. Don’t bend easily. Have an interesting shiny finish to them rather than the typical matte options available. BUT — they arrived with some noticeable micro abrasions. Since I’m engraving these to sell, I’m a bit hesitant to sell an already scratched product. They arrived individually wrapped, though, which is a super plus for me as I ship my engraved cards out — less materials for me to buy! I’m just confused as to how they arrived scratched when they’re wrapped. But I digress. These would be amazing if they weren’t kinda scratched up. But for the value, it’s a decent option.

Good purchase
Good weight and quality. Cost comparable to lighter weight cards.
