Easy to install and a solid performer. Provides enough power for my 2 Ring doorbells & my old doorbell chime inside. A little larger than I expected. I had to screw it to the rafter next to the electrical box & run a wire to the box instead of just inserting it into the bow with a lock washer.

Works great to upgrade older doorbell transformers when installing new video doorbells. FYI for DIY will require electrical so if you're hands on should be a breeze, otherwise call your electrician.

The one on my house was very underpowered. It could not run the address lights, the doorbell and the ring camera. This met all my power needs

Works as it should wiring was a simple process added the voltage I needed for a ring camera. No issues whatsoever.

The Google Nest Gen 2 doorbell worked fine with regard to camera and notifications but was unable to activate the indoor chime. The existing doorbell transformer could only deliver 20V and given the long length of wiring to the transformer that was insufficient to power the chime. Upgrading to the 24V Auspow transfomer solved the problem. I would have given this 5 stars but the transformer (heavy item) was packaged in a padded envelope not a sturdy box. During transit the mounting flanges of the transformer were bent. Fortunately, it was easily straightened and had no effect on installation or operation.

I had replaced my old doorbell transformer with the Ring transformer but our mechanical chime ringing was hit and miss, (sometimes worked, sometimes it wouldn't). So, I replaced it with this transformer and now our mechanical chime works every time the button is pressed. Additionally, the Ring doorbell pro's voice is noticeably louder. If you are having the same issues with your mechanical chime, I recommend this transformer.

The Auspow Doorbell Transformer 24V 40VA impresses with its decent build quality. The weight of the transformer gives a sense of its robustness. The transformer operates silently even under full load, which is a positive aspect. It remains cool when there is no load, indicating efficient operation. The no-load voltage measures at 27V. For a full-load test, a 12.1 ohms power resistor was used as a load. The terminal AC voltage recorded was 23.2V. This voltage corresponds to an AC current of 1.92A. Despite the heavy load, the transformer operated quietly and remained cool during the brief seconds of the full-load test. This is a good indication that the transformer handled the load comfortably. It should be capable of powering most doorbell cameras, even when accounting for wire loss. However, it’s important to ensure that the doorbell camera can handle a 24V AC voltage. In conclusion, this product has proven to be highly satisfactory for its intended purposes.

Previous doorbell transformer was underpowered to keep up with the demand of my new video doorbell, so decided to upgrade to this as Eufy suggest something 40VA. Install was a simple swap as all the wiring was already there. Doorbell has worked without issues since, and no more charging batteries.

Installed for Doorbell camera to power it continuously. Mine came broken with the strain relief and nut, but installed with screws on the case tabs onto a beam. Works good just didn't want to wait for another unit so continued with install. Otherwise works fine and install needed a new strain relief for the box which i had. Only four stars for coming broken.
