I have tried many different portable toilets from cassette toilets, buckets with seat and garbage bag to just going behind a tree. This portable toilet is perfect, it folds so it takes up little amount of room, easy to assemble, very stable when sitting on and a good height. The best portable toilet I have had. I travel a lot with my grandchildren and being able to just pull over set up and go and get back on the road it fast and easy. I also car camp and having this as a back up toilet is nice.

Sturdy, but sit down and stand up vertically. Will hold weight but will obviously not stay upright if you push sideways on it. Bags fit well and hold the contents. We also got some tablets that gel the urine and had no issues with odor. We use a swimsuit changing pop-up 'tent' for bathroom privacy and this works nicely inside. Easy to set up and stow away for the ride home.

My update to what I wrote below. I took the Ann Katy to Burning Man 2024 and it held up for the entire event and I arrived early and stayed late. I did replace the original bags with a more sturdy leak proof bag. I also used it as a seat when the lid was down, which the company does not recommended you do, and I agree its not made to be a chair. Would I use it again for a Burning Man like event, yes. I'm going to change from three stars to four stars because it does what it says, however it is not sturdy, you have to sit on it, with your weight on the brim of the seat; if you don't you may lose your balance or it may waddle. However I did like the convenience of how compact, lightweight and ease of transporting it.**** Once The Ann Katy arrived inside an Amazon delivery bag, no protective wrappings. It is easy to put together and comes with two flimsy bags, that I would not trust as a lining for a toilet. I know that you add a bad to hold what you're putting in, however, the two bags are flimsy, I'm replacing them with a more sturdy bag that's sure to be leak proof. The Ann Katy feels like a heavy cardboard covered in cloth, not too different from cubes you might use on a shelf. It is sturdy enough to hold my weight and is comfortable. Normally I would bring my own DIY bucket camping which has a soft seat and a lid on it too, but I have limited packing space and I'm flying out. The convenience of having something portable, easy to pack, is most helpful. I'll have to let you know how it holds up at the end of the summer. It does appear sturdy as a seat, has a lid, the traveling bag it comes in has a handle so it's easy yo carry, and lightweight. I plan on setting it up in its own private area when camping, hopefully all goes well. Update later.

I bought the Ann Katy XL Portable Toilet to get through a multi-week master bathroom remodel, and it has been an absolute lifesaver. The only bathroom in my NYC building is in the basement and I am afraid to go down there in the middle of the night. I used this at night and it helped! The extra height makes a huge difference—it feels much more like a standard toilet than other low-profile portable options. It’s incredibly sturdy and doesn't feel flimsy at all when you sit down. I also love how easily it folds up; we can tuck it into a closet during the day when the contractors are working. If you’re facing a renovation or just need a solid travel toilet for camping, don’t hesitate. This made a stressful home project much more manageable!

I was honestly impressed with this. The fact that it folds and turns into a small suitcase makes it incredibly easy to store and carry. It feels very sturdy—I sat on it and I weigh about 200 lbs, no issues at all. Perfect for emergencies, camping, road trips, or just having in the car for peace of mind. Simple design, easy to set up, and much more solid than I expected. Definitely glad I bought it.

This is a great item concept, but the build isn't durable enough for real usage. After just several uses the sides began to collapse and upon closer inspection its constructed of pressed cardboard which is covered by fabric. A couple of the videos state this is made with metal panels which is NOT correct. Having this has been great and the idea is awesome but, unfortunately, it's not built to last.

Sturdy. Hight enough off the ground. Comfortable seat. I thought for sure the little cushion seat wouldn’t be significant, but it is. Very practical. Easy to travel. Severed it purpose! Could be used as storage. Easy to install. Takes up just a little space while in use. I’m a big girl and it was strong enough to hold me. No rocking or tilting. I needed this item over 60 years ago! No pic needed. It looks exactly like the display in AMZ app.

Purchased for camping. It was great, even better than expected. We placed a good quality no leek kitchen garbage bag in the toilet and added some cedar chips at the bottom as recommended. A very large bag of cedar chips was purchased at a pet store (used for rabbits or other small animals) for $14. The bag will last for several campings trips. The chips were super absorbent so almost no liquid at the bottom of the bag and definitively no smell at all.
