Good camping knife.
Absolutely love it. It is a relatively inexpensive knife so keep that in mind, but its a knife I will be using for camping, thus ill be intentionally putting it through less than ideal situations. It has two grips: one for chopping and another for bush craft. I paracorded mine for a better grip but even without the paracord, the grip is good. Comes extremely sharp, but I have yet to test edge retention, although a knife can always be resharpened so this is a less important factor to me. Its a gorgeous knife with more than decent quality for the price and size. Well balanced on both sides, but with the addition of paracord, the handle is slightly heavier, which is something I personally like.

Real Damascus Steel knife at a great price.
This is a real Damascus steel knife that came without any rust or pitting. I suspected this would be a regular carbon steel knife with the Damascus pattern laser engraved on it, but it is real, hand-forged Damascus steel. If you look at the photos I included, you can see the individual layers of steel in the finger groove. It wouldn't be cost effective to laser engrave the layers there as it would be cheaper to just make Damascus steel. The swirls in it also make sense. Where the blade is flat they appear as swirls and where the blade tapers off they appear as topology lines as you wold expect. The laser engraved lines on a fake Damascus steel knife don't make sense because they are clearly just a picture of what some computer thinks Damascus steel should look like. The sheath it came with is different than that pictured in the listing. I'd have preferred the more plain sheath but it is ok. The sheath is real cow leather and not some PU / naugahide fake. The knife was oiled and wrapped in two layers of a papery feeling plastic, then taped up well. It was then slid into the sheath and the whole thing was wrapped in another tape up layer of plastic, and then a layer of bubble wrap before being stuffed tightly into the box, which was then securely taped. It seems like overkill but does seem to have protected the knife from moisture during its trip to Colorado from wherever it came. Overall it is a real, hand-forged Damascus steel knife in a real leather sheath for an unbelievable price. If the style of the sheath is not important to you, then I'd take a chance. I'm happy with mine.

Incredible for the price charged!
A really well made damascus steel knife at an unbelievable price. It IS damascus steel, not laser-engraved junk. I bought two - one for myself, one a gift for a friend - and the layers can be seen and the patterns differ, as would be expected. The sheath is a well made but a bit tacky (the ad one was simpler and more straight-forward) but that takes nothing from the knife, it's just a matter of taste.

This is a good knife for the price
My only complaint is I wish the sheath held the knife better.

It’s a 50/50 each time
I brought 2 knives, there surprisingly VERY good, I ordered a third and 4th one for my nephews, they both where trash when delivered, again, it’s a 50/50 you may get the best cheap Damascus knife, or you just might get what you’d expect a 25$ Damascus knife to be

Real Damascus steel,6 inches of self defense!
Knife arrived packaged very well, wrapped in oiled paper and bubble wrap,it is pretty sharp , easily can be stropped to razor sharp,I bought this because it was only $19.95 ,I rechecked a couple days later because I was going to order 2 more for gifts and bam ,it was $29.95 or more! Still not a bad price but it is 50% more at the new price and that's a bit more than I'd pay for more ,I do recommend this knife because it is real Damascus steel and it's a decent size for self defense or hunting, skinning etc

I'm in Awe of this blade
I'm in Awe of this blade and the craftsmanship. I was a little worried about how the knife was going to look and the quality of the blade, I have to say this is a true damascus and wonderfully made.

The knife came to me at a great price; it was exactly as described! It was meticulously crafted, nice handles balanced and very sharp! This is my impression of the knife! I have not used it yet! The knife feels great! I’m ready!
