10 Pack Gun Cleaning Bore Cotton Mops Brushes

The Estuary 10-Pack of .30-Caliber Cleaning Mops are great. They do a great job of cleaning the bores of my rifles and come at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

I usually use patch worm to clean the bores of my airguns. However, on my Benjamin Armada 177, I had difficulty getting the patch worm past the baffles. And I’m a stickler for clean bores. The Armada is known for its superb accuracy and therefore I make sure that the bore is thoroughly cleaned after firing 100 or so pellets. I soak these bore mops in Balistol before cleaning my bore for the first time and then I run clean bore mops after that Until the bore is spotless. These can be washed and I do wash them in dish soap, then I wipe them with a paper towel, squeezing them to remove as much water as possible and then let them dry overnight. I just ordered some in 30 caliber as well because I was so happy with these in .177.

Decent for what they are, reasonably priced.

The .177 is not an 8/32 as stated in the description, its a 5/40. Now I need to find an adapter, if they even make one, and wait on another delivery. Very poor.

I wanted to like these and intended to use them for my 308 but they are on the small/narrow side. You don’t get much actual brushing or pressure of the mop against the grooves of a 30 cal .308 barrel. They’re ideal for slightly smaller calibers like .264 (6.5mm) and .243 (6mm). Otherwise they are decent mops.

Good value and do what I need them to do.
