Concerned about night delivery from Amazon. This light is motion activated and lights up the whole porch area. I feel safer with this light at night now.

OMGoodnes, these are sooooo simple to install and they work great. We had spot lights in our entrance way and top of stairs where there is no outside light. Work perfect. Totally automatic. They go on, then auto off. Also purchased the switch covers to prevent turning off.

This light works great. It was easy to install. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that any time it senses motion (daylight or dark) it comes on. I would have preferred if it only came on when sensing motion after dark. This did not stop me from ordering a second light for another fixture in my house.

Installed two in our walk-in closet because I always forgot to turn off the light. Now the light turns on when we enter the closet, stays on until we leave, then turns off automatically. Very easy to install, fits well, looks nice and clean, and the variable light brightness allowed me to chose a nice bright light tone that light the closet really well.

Great solution for lighting entrance way with motion activated fixtures that fit easily into can lights.

Loved this light until it prematurely quit working. It was easy to install replacing a can light in the soffit of our vacation home that’s only used 6-9 days per month. It turns on when you’re near the entrance which is super convenient when entering after dark. However there is no photocell so the light goes on and off day and night whenever motion is sensed. Was that why it burned out after just 8 months use or was it just random product failure, I don’t know.

I installed this in the covered breezeway from the garage to my house so I now have a nice light so I can see to unlock the door. It stays on long enough but not so long it attracts bugs. The sensitivity is perfect and turns on when I'm within about 8 feet or as soon as I open the door next to it. Update: It stopped working after 3 months. Stays on all the time. Might have been the big electrical storm or because I installed it in the breezeway between the house and garage and the humidity is just too high. In either case, I just ordered another one because we've come to rely on this light so much to light up the area as we go between the garage and house.

Do not install these outdoors. Mine failed after only 5 months. They are poo poo.

Lo instale en el corredor que tiene como 2.5 de alto a veces se prende sólo por eso lo tengo con apagador y solo lo prendo en la noches.

Works well and easily installed into existing light housing. Wish it stayed on a little longer but sensor works perfectly
