Crunchy Nuggets Vegan Dog Food – High-Protein Plant-Based Kibble for Dogs, 15kg

My dog loves these biscuits. He has had other vegan dog biscuits that he's not been so keen on, but he always finishes these.

My male shar pei bulldog didnt snub his nose at it and Weeks into it , chooses it over tails salmon flavour. Never a sign of allergy or diarrhea. I add olive oil and have water next to it or mix it in. Second time ordering on Amazon, both times issues with dates so next time wont order from amazon. This bag had 3 months bb. Intended to use it after others had run out and keep stored. Was told to contact v-dog, they saud should be much longer, most have a year before the bb date. My dog loves hownd the best, more than autarky chicken or salmon. He rejects dried meaty treats now and i make vegan ones using chickpea flour, dessicated coconut, flax, turmeric with black pepper, peanut butter, st darfour strawberry jam, dandelion drops, mixed herbs, psyllium husk, msm

Good quality dog food, my dog has a sensitive digestive system so this food suits him much better than others. I top his meals up with home cooked meat, fish and veg, so no he isn’t 100% vegan. He always enjoys his meals and his overall health and coat is excellent. There’s definitely product inconsistency between orders. Kibble size differs and colour can be much darker/oily which requires some tweaking of quantity to avoid unwanted weight gain.

I’d hate to think that I am contributing to deforestation, emptying oceans, climate change and the exploitation and killing of innocent animals. A lot of meat based dog foods only contain a small percentage of meat which could be took from any part of the animal including hidden nasties which is why I wanted my Labrador and miniature labradoodle to try V dog. I gradually introduced it to the food they were already on and was sceptical if they would like it at first but I have found that they both love it! The biscuits are quite big so I soak them in a bit of water before giving them to my smaller dog to make them easier for him to eat. Both my dogs seem happy, healthy and energetic on this food. The only set back is the cost as it’s almost double the price of most meat flavoured nuggets.

Large biscuits, fine for mine but smaller dogs may struggle. Seems easily digestible and my dog eats it fine (mixed with wet food and fruit /veg). The past two bags I've had have had a really strong plasticy/rancid oil smell and has been greasier than previous bags. The decrease in quality and jump in price means I'll be switching to something else.

My German Wire-haired pointer enjoys this food and equally importantly has very healthy and well formed no.2’s on it! I knew dogs could be vegetarian from meeting a wonderfully glossy and youthful 9 year old German Shepherd belonging to a hotel in Rajasthan which had grown up on left over chapatis and vegetarian food. My German Pointer is going to be 14 next birthday, and still behaves like a teenager in the park and looks barely half his age, lucky chap. He’s still very slim, and I feel the dog food must surely be playing a part in his exceptional youthfulness. Admittedly I do adulterate it with a little bit of tinned dog food mixed in to make it interesting, but if I was more organised with making up tasty vegetable & pulse stews instead, reckon he’d be just as happy. I’ve got a super healthy young seeming dog and I’ll be sticking with the V Dog nuggets.
