YOYI YOYI Flexible 95A TPU 1.75mm 0.8KG 3D Printer Filament Black

This filament is not the easiest to print with but once you get it figured out, it does a terrific job. First of all, this is really soft TPU. This means that you will need a path from your extruder to your print head that is free of any gaps or crevices that the filament can bend into. Any small gab and the filament will take advantage of it and get stuck. The other important thing to remember is that printing slow and at a consistent speed is essential. For me, this means about 30-40 mm/s and change all speeds to that pace. Don't let your slicer speed up or slow down based on line type. Also, I don't recommend any retraction given the flexibility of this filament. Make sure you have "Combing Mode" set to "All" if you use Cura. My hot end temperature was set at either 210 or 215 with good results.

I used this filament to print a compliant mechanism that would secure itself by springing outward once pushed through an opening. The filament worked as predicted and has nice flexibility and seems to work just as well as some more pricey TPU I’ve purchased in the past. It’s a little stringy, but that’s tough to eliminate entirely with TPU. Bed adhesion was strong on my Prusa MK3. I forgot to protect the bed with a layer of glue or hairspray, but the print did not damage my bed’s surface, fortunately.

On my 8th roll of this TPU. I wasn't sure if you could...so I printed 2 layers at 0.08mm of this on a carbon fiber PEI bed. It looks like carbon vinyl wrap! Sprayed some 3m glue on it the back. Let it dry and the next day I "vinyl wrapped" it around an aircraft flight stick. Looks amazing! Using orca slicer, lots of calibration. I'm printing first layer 25mm/s, 240c, volumetric flow 4.2, 100% fan, 70% aux fan, 300mm/s outer and 200mm/s innter walls bridging 10mm/s. Bambu x1c with door open and all my prints are absolutely perfect. I even printed Frocs! Ha! They're really comfy.

I use Tpu a lot and use sainsmart hatchbox and yoyi. I do like yoyi the best and the results are great. I do have to say that there is more variance in diameter that + or -0.03. As much as I like them there can be variance of up to .15 for large sections up to 15 feet. But I also get this with sainsmart and hatchbox, hatchbox is the worst I have had to cut out as much as 40 feet, but again this isnt every spool. So if you ever have an extrusion problem use some calipers to measure the filament and make sure it is within .05mm of 1.75mm. (This is mostly down to 1.60, not very common for it to get above 1.77mm For me this is the main factor than thinking it was the nozzle. These sections do not happen every spool with yoyi, I have used many entire spools with no problems. And then i'll get one with 2 or 3 separate sections that has this diameter problem. It's not a deal maker and if your setup can handle large variances then you should be fine. I still use yoyi and my go to TPU as it is more consistent than the other brands. Hope this helps.

YOYI shipped the filament pretty fast so I was very happy about that. So far I've printed a few parts with it and I love it. I'm using the Anycubic Kossel Delta printer with a 0.6mm nozzle. I would recommend maybe trying a larger nozzle size like 0.6mm since the filament is harder to push through the system due to the flexibility as the extruder pushes it. 220C and 70F heated bed seemed to work well, along with 0.4mm layer height. I slowed down the printing and travel speeds as well, to something like 30mm/s - and also I was printing on Kapton tape and that seemed to work well. (No glue stick needed). Finally, I used a grid infill with 50% density. Basically, just be ready to experiment with the settings to print, but it's worth it! Great product, excited to try printing gaskets and many other flexible parts.

Nice Filament. It's been working just fine and printed right out of the box with no problem. I have printed RC tires only. They all printed fine with the proper settings. The last 3 print attempts have failed. After checking my machine, i found the problem. The filament had thick spots. The spot was so thick that I didn't have to use a caliper to even check it. I cut that part off and unrolled a decent amount to look for more thick spots. I found one more, but not as big. I didn't cut it because there was too much filament to lose. I was going to order more of this brand. Maybe i'm just an isolated incident. I am trying another print right now as I type this. These prints take 4+ hours or so at .8 nozzle. I run into the thick spot around 3hours and 30minutes of printing an object. Not Good!! If the filament remained consistent, I would use this brand only. It's just not worth wasting 3 hours prints for a thick spot. At least keep it close to 1.75mm.. Regards

I am impressed. I usually print with Ninjaflex when I want to print something flexible, but I ran out of the black, so I thought I would give this a try. It is fantastic! The best part is that it doesn't seem to need anywhere near as much "special" handling as other flexible filaments - I goofed and printed something with my normal PLA settings, including a speed of 80mm/s, using this filament. When I saw how fast it was printing, I was going to cancel the print, but it wasn't jamming, so I let it run, and it printed without any problems! (My printer is a Makergear M3 ID - YMMV). I found that this comes off the bed much easier than the Ninjaflex. I'm basically using the same settings I use for PLA - head temp 220, bed temp 55 (with LOK), print speed 80 mm/s, and a fair amount of retraction. Now I'm interested in how good YOYI PLA is, I will be ordering more from them.

Fantastic flexible filament! I’ve been printing with it at 230 degrees on my BIBO2 touch with just a glue stick applied under it and haven’t had a failure or knot yet. It’s a bit stringy but that’s easily corrected with a heat gun. This is one of my favorites to use because people love the squish of it and it’s just so easy. I’ve also printed several strain reliefs for charging cables with it and they’ve all come out perfectly, a huge money saver.

Fonctionne très bien dans ma Bambu Lab P1S après un 10h dans le séchoir a filament. Très bonne adhésion et aucun problème d'impression.

Necesitaba piezas menos flexibles por lo que pedi este que en su descripcion dice ser tpu 95a pero resulto ser muy blando. No creo que sea tpu 95a. Fuera de eso funciona bien como tpu normal

I ended up buying two more (also in black) I'm using my same setting as eSun tpu (so its a little on the warm side, 230C.) It's 95A after printing but its super soft. Works well with a direct drive extruder but i cannot comment on how well it will work on a bowden style extruder. Bed adhesion -Glass: good (with a brim you should be fine -G10 FR4 Garolite: Ok (sticks too well, fine for something small). Layer adhesion: excellent Finish: Super Glossy All and all its a good product. It feels like a shiner eSun black TPU. So if eSun works for you this should be fine.

I just use standard settings on my Bambi A1 and it printed very well. It's a very cool filament
