As someone who travels frequently, I'm always on the lookout for high-quality, secure bags to keep my belongings safe. Recently, I had the pleasure of using the Bopai security backpack and I have to say, I'm thoroughly impressed. The bag has a high-quality finish with leather accents that give it a professional and stylish look. But it's not just about aesthetics; the bag is also packed with features that make it an excellent choice for anyone who values security and organization. One of the standout features of this bag is the large amount of usable pockets. This is a superior bag for work, if you don't want to look like a backpacker (even a cool backpacker). It can double as a briefcase if you fold back and secure the shoulder straps. It has a handle on the top and on the side, so it doubles as a carry backpack or a briefcase. The comfortable shoulder straps for one side or both. The laptop's nice smooth fabric compartment can hold my 16" and that main pocket expands to store all electronics and personal items. I like the zippered compartment in that section to store a passport and wallet. The other two compartments are fine to keep items organized, or for a book or an iPad. The zippers work well, but the second one I ordered had a defective zipper lining on the second biggest pocket and that made it difficult to zip open or close. I sent that one back and got a replacement within two days even before they received the returned one. I looked at and checked out many (like 50) backpacks but this one is by far the best -- certainly the best for the price (yes there are fancy ones for $450). I am a bit glad that this bag is not that popular, as it still catches folks eyes as something very stylishly different than what most folks have.

My favorite backpack - stylish and well made

Perfect size and very thoughtful design. Stay away from cheaper models, such as those found on discount websites. I have been using mine for over four months and I have no complaints. Well-constructed and great design. Lots of compartments. Lightweight yet structurally strong; it will stand on the floor and maintain its shape (every other backpack I’ve had in the past 15 years will flop over or collapse). A very convenient luggage strap is built in which my last backpack was missing (a name brand that cost 50% more). Different colors available, too, which is a nice option.

I took this back pack on a 3 day trip to Portugal, I was able to fit everything I needed. It does get a little heavy to be walking all day with it, the backpack empty is 3lb, so after you add a few things I was walking around with 9lb. The breathability in the summer in Europe was non existent. My whole back was sweaty and my shoulders at the end of the day were tired. But I think it has great padding. If they will get rid of the water bladder area, the backpack will have a lot more space. Keeping the backpack organize was great, it has enough compartment for everything you need while traveling, keeping your passport safe, it attached to my carry on. The water bottle area was large enough. The zippers seem very durable, I was in London as well and in a few places in England and I didn’t tested it in the rain this summer, but my only major complain is that it got extremely hot in my back. Everything else about this backpack is great. I use it on daily based for the office, they provide you with a cable and a little packing container that now I use for cables and is amazing to keep me organize. As a daily backpack for work is great, perfect for documents and laptop. I haven’t tested it in the winter, but I guess it will keep my back warm. I hope. It connected very well to my power bank battery from Anker. The looks are great. I also tested it traveling to NYC and again it got hot, but I was able to fit thing I needed for a 3 days weekend trip. I highly recommend to use packing cubes. The cubes plus this backpack makes you be on top of your game when packing light. As I said, is not a perfect backpack because the temperature it generates when walking around when fully pack while traveling, only for this reason is that I can’t give it a 5 stars. I will keep looking for that great backpack for trips, but for work is when is not fully loaded, is great and the overheating problem in the back doesn’t happen. So perfect for work and school.

I just purchased the Bopai Intelligent Increase Backpack and am very impressed by how well thought out the design is, the styling, and perceived quality for the price. As context, I am a professional consultant that travels often but am not an extreme road warrior anymore, and I sought a solution that would be highly functional, fit for use, and professional looking. First, the design is very well thought out, and if you have seen Bopai's video on this, you should take a look because it really does cover the bases. In terms of my standard professional setup, I carry a Lenovo Carbon X1 laptop, a iPad for note taking, an over the ear headset that folds somewhat flat (~1.5"), backup powerpack (which can plug into the inside of the backpack and be accessible through a USB port on the outside of the backpack), power adapters, business cards, medicines, money, pens, travel wipes, light toiletries, etc. in the main inner compartment. I may also carry 1.5-2" of documents and papers in the secondary outer compartment. I use the backpack's secret compartment for my passport and sometimes other small critical items. I use the hideable outer pocket for my umbrella. I can fit this all into the backpack without engaging the expandable section of the backpack. While I haven't done it yet, I could easily expand the backpack to carry a Hydro Flask and light change of clothes. One strap of the backpack has a small card slot, which is convenient for putting a metro card, whether it is an Oyster Card for London or an Easy Card for Taipei. There are handles which allow the backpack to be carried from either the top or the side. The side one is clever in the sense that the normal straps of the backpack can actually be hidden completely away and the backpack can be carried sideways more like an attache case. I have not tested the waterproof or resistant characteristics of the backpack, but the ballistic nylon looks to be tight enough to repel and resist moderate rain. Hard to say about whether the zippers would resist a long, heavy downpour on top of the bag. Second, the backpack is quite stylish to my eyes and preserves its form when packed or unpacked (i.e., not completely an unstructured backpack). As context, I have a Tumi Narita attache (was $695 new), which is a slim bag that has a mixture of leather and ballistic nylon, and I use that attache when I go to more formal meetings. The styling on the Bopai really has quite a similar vibe to my Tumi Narita, and I would be very comfortable carrying this backpack into almost any professional setting. In the two pictures I’ve submitted, the Bopai backpack is on the left and the Tumi attache is on the right. Third, the price quality tradeoff seems to be good, provided that the backpack lasts at least 2 years, hopefully longer, say 5-8. My Tumi gear usually lasts 10 years +/-. I could see the Bopai gear lasting quite awhile too, but it is unknown at this point. A lot of people seem to have reported zipper issues in the past. I don't immediately see where zipper issues might occur, but it's these types of fine points (e.g., zipper points, stitch failure, strap tears) where gear can become unusable. At this point, I recommend the Bopai backpack if you are looking for a professional backpack and carry a moderate amount of stuff on a daily basis. I am not sure I would carry thick, heavy textbooks in this backpack, mostly because this backpack looks more professional than rugged. I'll update this post if I run into issues, but I could see myself becoming a longer-term Bopai proponent.

Bought this almost 3 years ago and have used it everyday, not a single issue this entire time. Surprisingly spacious and the expansion is very convenient. Amazing quality, very durable, 100% worth the money.

I am traveling in a couple weeks, and I need to take my electronics plus the collection of cables and other items I seem to always need to have on hand. My work brief case is really well worn, but it's black leather and has done well for me though many years. This time around, I was looking for something just as good, or better, that would also function as a backpack. I wanted it to be water resistant, good quality materials and construction, and be able to fit the "stuff" I'll need to have on hand. I looked up the competitive products, and I noted that you can spend twice as much as this one costs, but that product doesn't give you anything more for the money. Plus, the reviews were not good. I took the plunge with this company I did not know. Amazon got it to me in record time. The product is really good. Strong zippers, lots of pockets to fit what I'll take, a nice place to hide the passport, the ventilated back construction to allow for air flow, and a nice outside USB connector for my portable phone/tablet charger connection, which is really handy. The ONLY thing I found a tiny bit annoying - you have to find something less than perfect, right? - is the backpack itself travels in a cloth bag that has a tie string. The tie string was in a knot, which is really not necessary. It took a bit to get it untied. Therefore, the only thing I didn't like is not important!

Nach zwei Wochen Nutzung habe ich glaube ich endlich alle Geheimnisse dieses Rucksacks herausgefunden. Trinkflaschenhalterung, die man, wenn man sie nicht braucht "zumachen kann". Versteckte Fächer für Dokumente, extra Halterung außen für das USB-Kabel, dass man am Rucksack anschließen kann und die Möglichkeit den Rucksack anzubinden, durch die Schultergurte. Wie Wasserfest der Rucksack ist kann ich nicht im Detail sagen aber mittleren Regen hat er gut überstanden. Er optisch wirklich ansprechend und wirkt sehr modern, was ich bei vielen schwarzen Rucksäcken nicht so behaupten kann. Besonders Praktisch war der Rucksack auf geschäftlichen Reisen, weil sogar mein 17" Laptop zusammen mit mein Tablet in das Laptopfach gepasst haben. Das ist auch schön weich gepolstert, damit nichts kaputt geht :) Für Dokumente, kleinere Technik, Medikamente und Co sind die anderen Fächer perfekt und Kleidung passt für 4-5 Tage in den Rucksack, wenn man das Reißverschlusssystem nutzt um den Stauraum zu vergrößern. Bin auch sehr positiv überrascht vom Tragekomfort, der meine Erwartungen deutlich übertroffen hat, da ich dachte, dass die karabinerartige Halterung der Schultergurte unangenehm sein würde aber das Gegenteil ist der Fall und ich habe das Gefühl, dass es sogar angenehmer wird. Nach dem Auspacken habe ich keinen seltsamen Geruch feststellen können, wie ich es in einer anderen Review lesen konnte. Finde die Verarbeitung soweit auch sehr gut

Great little rucksack. Plenty of pockets, space for a small umbrella on the side (well I am using it for one), integrated charging cable and port outside etc. Very sturdy. Best one I bought yet. Update: 3 years later and a lot of abuse, some scuffs but it is still looks great. The zipper gave out though (I essentially ripped that thing off when trashing the rucksack around). Unrepairable. So I have just ordered a new one. I did not check if there was a newer model so just reordered the same. When it arrived, I started transferring my stuff into it and upon opening the rucksack, I was immediately disappointed as the laptop compartment was gone! BUT, this is an updated version so after few moments I found out there is the second compartment with laptop and tablet holder. There are some additional pockets and zipped compartments compared to the older model. Overall, this is an improvement. However, I preferred the older style usb charging port which was somewhat exposed with cae plugging into it from the back so I was able to plug the cable.with ease without taking the bag down. still 5 stars though!

旦那の通勤用に買いました。PCも入るし、大きく幅が広がる仕様が便利。3ヶ月ほど使用していますが、破損なくキレイに使えています。ややリュック自体が重いですが、デザイン重視の為気にならないようです。

Love ir, the quality is amazing. The size is the best part, large enough for trips and a heavy school duties. Plus the sent me a little bag, a cable and the bag comes equipped with an usb cable to charge.
