My dad has a chronic lung condition that makes it hard to breathe, especially in the cold (and windy!) Wisconsin winters. He’s an avid bow and gun hunter, so he’ll sit out there all day. This face cover is thick enough to still allow him to breathe while maintaining some moisture (don’t worry, it’s just enough to make the air not dry) and heat to allow him to be more comfortable and safe. He loves this face cover👍 I feel better knowing that if he’s out there alone that he’ll be able to breathe better.

I had to repair a small area before giving it to someone for Christmas. Other then that it was a great product and really soft.

It was warm and windproof. Wore it snowmobiling and ice fishing behind ski goggles, and under a hat. Stood up to 40+mph wind and sub zero temps at 7 am on Lake Superior. Spent 7 hours on the ice. This balaklava was super comfortable the whole time. I have a big noggin, and it was tight getting the hood down around my head, but you want it to be form fitting so that was not a problem at all. Nose and mouth cover was a bit hard to find at times after it got tucked down. Could have easily been my gloves or my frozen fingers that were the real problem. Going to be a staple in my extreme weather gear from now on.

Keeps your face warm

I purchased this for my husband mostly for when he is outside snowplowing with our tractor or chopping wood but one could wear for many winter activities such as hunting, ice fishing, shoveling, sledding etc.. We live in a place where it can get very cold and windy (Central Wisconsin) and this has done a pretty good job protecting him from the elements. He is not one to fuss with putting extra stuff on and handles weather better than most but has used this numerous times already. I think it is of decent quality, quite thick and warm and somewhat adjustable with the side tabs. I felt like it might be a little difficult to see out of but so far for him, no problems. It is fairly large and therefore meant for a larger person or head, as it would be too large for me (I am an avg. sized woman). I was so impressed with it that I got one for my father in law as well because the price is right!

Fits OK... Not as roomy as I was hoping. It does keep the wind and cold off of my head and face, though.

I purchased this for hunting. This is very soft and comfortable. This can be used in several ways. Very happy with my purchase, finally something to keep my face warm on the coldest hunting days here in Ohio

These are soft and warm, perfect for being out in a cold wind. Nice fit around glasses too.

I used this hunting in about -20 with a pretty serious wind chill. If you live in Alberta you know what I'm talking about. The fleece is quite thick and I found it to be very warm. The product is good quality, and is easily thrown into the wash after. My only complaint is that I found my neck was a bit chilly, I would suggest wearing a dickie or some kind of coverage that covers your neck and part of your chest so that no air seeps in. Overall this was an awesome purchase.

I am very happy with this product. Pros: Fits very well, well made, elastic cords and clips to tighten (when it is cold, taking one's gloves off to tie strings sucks). Cons: The elastic cord is a bit thin and the clips a bit weak, so they may not last too long.
