Santal Himalayen Scented Candles for Home, 19 oz Natural Soy

I love this candle! It is very elegant, has a nice, subtle aroma and beautiful container and wick. I ordered two of these, one to test out before I give it as a gift which I will definitely do. Perfect gift and perfect for yourself.

First off - it comes very nicely gift wrapped. The wood wick makes it extra-flameworthy. It burns very well and looks great doing it. The scent throw is probably a 5/10 with 10 being overpowering. Great - subtle scent. Would recommend. I’m about to order another one and will keep this in mind for a quick gift.

This is an edit from my original review. The first candle I received did not smell like what it was supposed to, it was burning awful, not burning cleanly, and just all around not good. I posted that review and the seller reached out to me and asked if I wanted a refund or another candle. I opted for a different candle in hopes that the first one I received was just a fluke. And it was! The new candle is amazing! The smell is amazing and it’s burning beautifully! I was not asked to edit my original review at any time. I am doing this to one let people know how wonderful the candles are and what an awesome company to reach out and make my purchase right without asking me to change my review

***Update, both have the candles have burned through now and my opinion has changed a bit. The amber burned flawlessly and evenly, down to almost the last drop of oil and I was pretty happy with that as I can use the jar for burning other candles now. The cedar was the scent I preferred, but that wick stopped burning almost a 1/6 from the bottom of the candle, and now there's about an inch and a half of wax still left but the wick is completely done. I followed the instructions provided and had great luck with the amber candle, but the cedar burned pretty poorly- lots of holes, dips, and wax left on the sides of the jar. I'd initially thought if I re-purchased, I'd definitely go for the cedar but now that they're both done, I think I'd side with the amber for the sake of not wasting money. I don't know that I'd say they're worth $30 a pop and I assume it's mainly due to the jars, but overall it hasn't been a terrible experience. If they weren't so expensive, or possibly were bigger, I'd re-purchase. ******** I love the wick on these candles and the lovely crackling you can hear as it burns. I use these while I'm writing and it helps set a really nice atmosphere. When I first opened the package, I could see they were wrapped very carefully and thoughtfully so they wouldn't break in transit and the scent seemed really strong in the box. They didn't seem quite as strong when burning, though. So the scents are great, but I somewhat feel like I need to keep it really close by or maybe turn on a fan to circulate the smell. I bought both options, and I honestly like the fresh pine feeling you get from the green candle. Only real bother for me was they seemed a lot smaller in person than I expected for the price. I would purchase them again because they're so pretty to keep on my mantle, but this would only be a splurge every once in awhile.

Update: below is my original review. I am updating it after having been sent a second candle and given a refund on the first. I did not expect such attention to my review. I am blown away that any company would care enough to go to the lengths they have to make sure I had a good purchase. While the candle scent was not as I expected I think it is a lovely container. I have recently been told that soy candles do indeed burn differently and have a lighter scent because of the essential oil vs. strong chemical scents. Anyhow- go ahead and pick something from this company. They will make sure you are pleased with it! I bought this as a gift to give. It did not come boxed, just wrapped in foam. That was okay but the scent is nothing like I expected. Just smelled like soap. My favorite scent is amber and there is NO amber in this candle. I also like sandalwood and likewise, I do not recognize any sandalwood scent. Obviously I didn’t burn it, but the generic soap scent was strong when I took it out of the wrapping. So, rating it on design-the glass jar and top is very pretty and gift-able. The candle scent- not-so-much. If the scent isn’t important to you then I would say this would be a good buy.

This candle was shipped without a box and the only packaging is a styrofoam cube wrapped in pretty paper, so when it arrived the glass was shattered completely. Had to spend 30 minutes cleaning up tiny glass fragments. Before I tossed it because it was a hazard, the smell was a little cloying and not really sandalwood, but okay. I imagine the package was squished in transit. Had it been in a cardboard box plus the styrofoam, maybe it would’ve arrived safely.

La Jolie candles are beautiful burning or not with the intricate glassware and amazing scents! Love these candles (I have 4)!!! Will continue to purchase!

I was very excited for this quality candle, with reusable container, and a beautiful one at that. It looks as described, nice wood wick, expected container. However, the scent is a slightly rose soap, and very floral scent. I'm not sure if it was due to an accident during production, or if it somehow has to do with storage perhaps. I removed the labels, and in heating the vessel just enough to do so, it was even more apparent this candle must be mislabeled/packaged, as the scent is definitely throughout the candle and not as described - yet refreshing. I have since purchased again, as I enjoyed the fragrance, however, the glass has heated and popped/broken several times on the previous candle - only safely burning 1/4 of the candle beforehand. I may use this as a decorative piece, out of caution, and hope this does not happen to anyone else.

大きさや容器の美しさなどは写真で見て想像通りでしたが、香りだけが期待していた香りとちょっと違いました。 やっぱり嗅がないで好みの香りを買うのは難しいですね。

開けてすぐ、うわっ！匂い強！って思いました。 が、火をつけると何故が香りが飛び、ちょうど良い香りに。不思議… 初めはパチパチという音もありませんが、2回目に火をつけた時にはちゃんとパチパチ聴こえて、いい感じ！ 他の香りも買ってみたので、楽しみです！ 他のも、使ってみてからレビューします

素敵なガラスに入っていて、香りの強さも丁度いいのですが、ちょっと自分の想像した香りと違っていました。 疲労回復が望めるというので、ベッドルームで使っています。 ムードはとても良くて違う香りも試したいです
