Quickway Imports Small Pirate Style Wooden Treasure Chest

Very attractive box bought as a special present. I was reluctant to part with it so I was glad that the recipient was very pleased with it. The box was of a standard that I would expect, but the detail was better than expected. I hope i get one for my birthday!

My boyfriend loved this for Valentines day. I filled it full of chocolate coins and various goodies and it was well received. Looks good in his flat.

So cute! I love it! measurements are for inside the chest, not outside, but still a lovely small treasure chest. Very light in weight.

Absolute s***e! Don't waste your money, you'd be better off buying the wood and tools and giving them to your dog to have a go. Your dog couldn't do much worse if he just ate the screws and took a whizz on the saw. You've been warned. This company isn't concerned with quality, just your lovely........MONEY!!!!!!!

Was a present for someone. Opened it to check it was alright and honestly wanted to keep it for myself

The thing that struck me on receiving it that it's very lightweight as it's made from *incredibly thin* wood. If you accidentally stepped on it, it would be game over and the box would be completely destroyed. In fact, mine arrived with two cracks in the lid hence the 2 stars. As for appearance, it looks very nice and is quite faithful to the photo, except mine had a metal button glued off centre and the edging was flawed on one side (see pictures) and hence asymmetric. I am returning it.

Oh my goodness, this is just so beautiful. It is smaller than I expected, because my measurements assumed inside dimentions, not outside, which of course makes no sense and is my fault. The item that arrived is just gorgeous, and has a little clasp on the front. The level of detail exceeds the photos - the photos are good, but the dark on dark subject matter means they miss some of the fine detail you actually have on this. I frankly just wanted a Pirate-y container for the "real" items and part of my craft project. now this has become the star of it all! This has what i call excellent "intangibles" - the lid just opens smoothly, rests well, seals well, carries and travels well, etc. I recently bought some boxes for office storage and the lids were a pain to open, needed one hand just to prevent it from snapping off from its own weight, etc. this has no such flaws or quirks.

Bought it as a gift for a storage bin for D & D paraphernalia, dice, figurines, etc.... The boy loved it. Not the most rugged (ie: not oak plank) but sturdy enough and has that very groovy medieval look that would make any Dungeon Master proud.

De loin il peut faire illusion. De près, bois extrêmement fin, branlant, pas sûr qu'il tienne très longtemps. bref pas top.
