My son bought it as a gift for his Grandad (my father), who was really thrilled to receive it. Excellent build quality and song library reminiscent of the good old days !

Saregama Carvaan 2.0 Music Player ----- excellent device for stored pre loaded music
Very good assortment and selection in the stored music. However, importantly, there should have been a facility to be able to see the list of the various songs that have been preloaded and preferably an opportunity to cherry pick the songs one likes.

Product is OK, but my unit fail to connect to wi-fi.
Product is OK, but my unit fail to connect to wi-fi. Did reset and followed their instructions, but still it did not work. Will return the piece for replacement

Carvan 2.0 a Multipurpose device mix of old and new
It serves well to all who acquire the carvaan 2.0 for entertainment as it contains Hindi Bollywood films songs starting from year 1950 to 2010 offline bifurcated in sections Artists, Special and Geetmala . A modern feature is added in the form of WiFi. The WiFi feature connects to Application based feature Carvaan which may be downloaded on mobile phones. Its WiFi feature is very limited and requires its expansion to All world Radio stations and Podcasts . At present WiFi feature is inadequate. The device is also a FM and MW Radio. FM works well as I am at prime location but not sure that it will work well at remote locations in villages of India.Its Bluetooth feature makes it a very good speaker which may be connected to phones and computers to listen music through carvaan 2.0 . Body is made using good materials and finishing is very good. Size of the body is optimal. Curves on all its corners make it a very attractive in design. Handle adds additional beauty to the design. It may be operated manually as well as by remote. Remote does not contain On/Off button so when wishing to shutdown the carvaan 2.0 not possible by remote.It contains a chargeable battery. Battery backup is moderate. Charger is not there in the package. A charging cable is supplied instead of charger.

Easy to use, great gift for parents, vol/sound quality is good, buy the insurance
I bought the one with wifi/app, it was around 150 bucks. It's very good so far and very easy to use. Song selection and song/vol quality are pretty good. The remote control makes the experience even more enjoyable and convenient. I read all the reviews before purchasing this so I bought the 3-year insurance plan as well because I have a feeling this will have issues in the future. So, while I'm happy now I will edit this post in the future if the player stops working.

Saregama Carvaan 2.0
I bought the Saregama Carvaan 2.0 from Amazon and I’m really happy with it. The packing was very good and the product arrived safely. The build feels premium, and the sound quality is excellent — clear and rich. The remote works smoothly, and even the Wi-Fi feature connects and functions perfectly. Song selection is great with a wonderful mix of classics. Overall, a perfect product for music lovers!

Please do not buy Saregama Radio- the product quality is sub par!!!
Saregama Radio completely lacks in reliability. While offering pre recorded collection is nostalgic and reliable, the product simply does not work. I bought the radio (v. 1) and that did not work. I assumed v. 2 may be reliable- but this time, it was a broken product right out of the box. If Saregama would like to continue selling this product, they need to manufacture reliable and working product. Till then, my advice is that no one should buy this radio.
