Kikkerland Storm Glass Barometer with Beech Wood Base

Bought this for my husband as a Christmas present. The price made me a bit hesitant at first but decided to give it a go. Although a bit smaller than I expected, its simple contemporary design is great. It's well made and the glass fits snugly into the base. I especially like the fact that the different weather conditions are printed onto the glass, making it very easy to interpret the different crystal formations. The glass was also very well packaged. No chance of it getting damaged in transit. Although I'm not sure how well it 'predicts' the weather it cerrtainly makes a great gift. Absolutely fascinating to watch the different crystals forming!

Looks good, nice quality. Dropped a star as it's smaller than expected.

Really interesting gift, and a fantastic talking point. Loved the information enclosed about the history behind it. It can take a little while to settle and start functioning but once it does it’s really interesting to see how it changes.

Rubbish :( have had it a year and it has always looked the same, does not change with the weather. Does not change full stop. 🙄 Looks nice, smaller than expected (but don’t know why I had envisaged it being bigger.)

The writing arrived largely rubbed off and it looks poorly done. Like someone handled with grubby fingers

Unusual gift idea, not cheap, small item, quick delivery though. Good as something unique

Not sure how accurate it is but looks good and great novelty gift. Is small but looks fine on my son's windowsill. DO get a bit obsessed with checking it though!

Bought this as a gift for a coworker who loves science. Item slightly smaller than expected, but still very cute and cool. Happy with the product.
