Require removal before washing?

I would recommend removing them just in case, but I made a mistake once and left them on during a wash and dryer. They stayed on. I love them

A magnet will work, but the small magnets that come with them are best. I accidentally forgot them on my shirt, washed and dried them, and they were still on my shirt. They work great
