Good wood for carving
The wood seems nice but kinda hard to carve so I soak them in baby oil to loosen them up a little

Nice carving blocks.
Wood appears to be pretty clean. I noticed a few small knots. I cut a piece and it felt pretty good. Should work for small figure carvings. Didn't go 5 stars during to the long shipping time and the knots.

Got these to make small mushrooms and gnomes. The wood is consistent, no knots and easy to carve. I would buy again.

Great for price. If you carve in bulk, they work well.
Canโt beat the price for the quantity and quickness of delivery. I tried this brand for the first time to begin my Christmas side gig of selling Christmas Ornaments for the holidays. Iโll say that the majority of the blocks are quality. There are a few in every box that are very Knotty and have stringy grain. If your knives are nice and sharp, and you have some experience you can work with them. I ordered again, and will again after that.

Great carving blocks
Really good for carving. I am new at carving and probably not qualified to give a review but I'm having a blast carving these blocks. I can't cut deep and clean like the youtube tutorials but at the moment, I blame my novice skills.
