This is my second wallet. Love it. Holds up well. Doesn't take up much space. Better than "dads bill fold"

Initially I am impressed by the simple design and execution. It’s very slick. I got the ocean, which is carbon fiber with the blue flecks of aluminum. That brings me to my only criticism. The blue is tiny bits, not the same as the black carbon fiber shreds which are larger. It looks kind of like it was sprinkled with blue salt. It’s not a deal breaker, but it’s not what the picture looks like either. I don’t intend to return it over that but I knocked off a star. Represent. As far as functionality, I am adapting to the daily usage. It disappears in the pocket which is nice. I really like the cash strap which I didn’t think I would. It came with the money clip included which I thought I would prefer, but after using it both ways I removed the clip. Btw, you can use both simultaneously, something I never saw in the advertisements. It adds to the bulk a good deal tho. Overall, I’d recommend the Ridge to anyone who wants to try to streamline their edc. It’s a bit pricey, but it is excellent design. For me that takes a lot of the sting out of it. I don’t mind paying a premium for premium design. I still get a little flustered whenever I have to dig around to find my drivers license, but I think that’s just a matter of getting used to the thing. It’s small, which is a good thing, but my fingers sometimes don’t work like they should when I’m holding a small smooth item. I’m sure I’ll adapt. I like the way the elastic holds everything together with the ideal amount of tension. That aspect of the design is very well tuned. It’s a good secure hold but still easy to operate. I am not worried about anything accidentally falling out. I find myself carrying eight or nine cards, what with all the necessary ids, permits, atms etc. There is definitely more capacity should one need it. I am not really sure how much I need the RFID protection, but it’s good to know it’s there anyway.

I've had the old leather wallet for as long as I know. My son showed my his Ridge Wallet and I decided to grab one. It's saved my back pain that my leather wallet used to give me. Fits easily into my front pocket and the strap allows me to tuck my work badge and some cash in there along with my license and credit cards.

There are other reviews on here talking about how they received an off brand wallet, and it was cheap materiel. NO ladies and gentlemen, my wallet is an official ridge bonafide wallet and the metal parts are as thin as paper. The wallet, the 150 dollar wallet when you flick it it is plastic to the sound. I got the ocean pacific colorway. It sounds plastic. This product is not worth 150 dollars !!!! Ahahahaha like this is a joke. I will keep wallet for extra go-to.. it is smaller and I have an apple AirTag thing so those additions get this review a 1 star otherwise I’d give it a 0 for quality of materiel. this review is simply review just getting it out of the box no actual use yet. The “SECRID” wallets are much higher quality.

The wallet is nice and reduces the footprint of a regular wallet to a much more compact piece of kit that can easily be placed in a front pocket. For $150 though, its not worth the price because the external panels are not real carbon fibre and the amount of blue fleck is lacking on my specific wallet. Otherwise, its well made and comes with two different bands to use to stow cash on the wallet itself.

it looks and feels great, small sized, well built, and just overall great, much smaller than my leather fold, wish the magsafe was an option with this design though i understand it's not really possible
