For a green anole which tank would be the best suitable? I am leaning towards 12x12x18. And does it leak at all?

It doesn't leak at the base up until the front ventilation, just below the doors. so you would be safe to make a water ate a up until that point. I like to say bigger is better. Minimal I go 18x18x24. It's better for the animals and us as far as being able to put proper climbing and hiding decorations as well as their water sources.

is there any attachment that can be added on the top of the terrarium for making it taller? Ofcourse taking away the mesh, any ideas?

look for a 12 x 12 screen cage and take out the bottom and use a nice piece of black duct tape around the inside. Now you have a screen top terrarium vivarium tank

can you put a baby crested gecko in here?

We didn't have a baby but I can't imagine it wouldn't work for a baby. Its a great tank and not any obvious areas of escape.
