After reading some of the reviews, I was a little concerned about the assembly, but it turned out to be much easier than expected. Having two people definitely helps, especially when lifting the main grill section into place. The BBQ feels very solid and well built once assembled. My first cooking attempt was a success, with fast heating and even heat distribution across the cooking area. One of the best features is the flexibility to use either gas or charcoal, which gives you the convenience of gas and the flavour of charcoal in one unit. The side burner and temperature gauge are also useful additions. Overall, it looks and feels like a quality product that should last for years. Very happy with the purchase so far.

I love love love this BBQ it’s a quality piece of kit. I love a charcoal BBQ but I also like the ease of gas especially to cook breakfast alfresco so this is absolutely spot on for me! We have got a Char Broil normal kettle bbq too which is also excellent. It’s so easy to light, less mess less charcoal needed so you don’t waste. Excellent value for money, she looks amazing too! If in doubt just buy one, you won’t regret it!

I opted for the BBQ to be built on delivery so cannot comment how it is to build. Two men built it in just less than a couple of hours. Looks amazing and very sturdy. I did take time to look at the assembly book, it didn't look very clear to me. Having looked at many Char-Broil YouTube videos, I was trying to find out if you need to remove the 3 silver gas covers before you place in the coal tray. I've seen videos that have them remain inside whilst I've seen others which have them removed first. The book suggests they should be removed, again its not clear. I decided to leave them in because they protect the gas burners and I want to keep it as clean as possible, this method worked fine, placed a flat layer of coal and lit the gas, it was really hot and smokey in less than a few minutes, turned the gas off and started to cook the food. Please could somebody kindly reply if you know if the silver gas plates should be removed when using the coal tray. Thanks in advance. The heat seemed evenly spread, I made use of all the BBQ cooking space, all the food was cooked exactly the same so no cool spots, it tasted lovely, smokey and the smell was amazing. Behind the BBQ there's a sign that states not to store your gas bottle on the shelf under the BBQ. I have a big bottle that won't fit anyway, would be nice to have it out of the way but that's no big deal. Easy to wheel to my garage at the end of summer. The Char-Broil protective cover for this model is a bit expensive, but probably worth getting it to save the elements ruining the BBQ. We also used it without the coal tray just using just gas and we regret it, food was still cooked even and tasted amazing, Its very awkward to clean the base. It does a good job of draining the grease into a grease cup, there's no getting away from the thick burnt oil that burns onto your base. I would therefore recommend always using the coal tray if you like to keep it clean. Overal I'm happy with my BBQ, food tastes lovely and very easy to get going. If I could change anything, it would be much better to have a base tray that you can slide out periodically to make cleaning easier. Great BBQ all the same for the price, looks nice and would recommend. Note this version did not come with the bottle opener I've seen on other 3 burner models.

This is an excellent product, good looking and efficient. I use the grill mats to help keep it clean. It is however a complicated build, the instructions are clear but I had a mechanical engineer do mine and it still took him 4 hours plus.

Bought this on 'offer' which made it a great price! Quickly delivered in a large very strong box (heavy too) with all parts well wrapped and protected by bubble bags and polystyrene - took a couple of weeks of wheely bins (green) to get rid of it all. ALL the bits were there and all the steel BBQ in A1 indamaged condition. The instructions are a series of pictures but fairly logical. Spend some time identifying what's what and then took an easy 2.5 hrs to do the build. Tip, just loosly tighten the build until all the frame is together before tightening up fully! Only help needed was to lift the central burner unit into place. The end result is a good sized, very solid BBQ that's streets ahead of my previous £100 charcoal one (simple 10 year old dual barrel now rusting badly). Tested with gas and all works, just need my first excuse to give it a proper run on both gas and charcoal. Can't fault the BBQ so far and building was easier than I'd expected. This is a really good BBQ it looks great love that its a hybrid and you can use coals or gas , have cooked with both since it arrived and its brilliant . However the reason I only gave this 3 stars is cleaning it after you have cooked using gas. We all know when you BBQ bits fall off the stuff you cook oil drips down below , marinades drip !! When you have finished cooking and the BBQ is cool you have to take off the grills remove the flame tamers , then you have to use a wet cloth to scoop up all the bits at the bottom, with the gas burners in the way this is not an easy thing to and is a messy job.

Its a brilliant Barbecue - love the fact you can use gas and coals. But after reading the reviews definitely pay for the assembly - it does take a while like the previous review nearly three hours. The instructions once you have read twice are clear but it does take time. Its a very well built barbecue and when your putting this together the craftmanship is excellent - all the screws are coated and line up (simple things but great when it works) We are so glad we got this and once up and working very easy to use and clean, so a happy summer and winter ahead.

We love this BBQ the food is very tasty when grilled. Is very useful with the lava rocks and spreads the heat evenly. It’s our favorite BBQ and a great price quality ratio. It was also easy to assemble.

arrivato 4 giorni di anticipo rispetto alla data amazon. pregi imballo professionale arriva in un pacco, tutti i vari pezzi sono divisi da polistirolo e o imballati a parte, comunque ben protetti. montaggio facile basta un cacciavite tempo 1,40h tutti i pezzi sono segnati e con la guida è difficile sbagliare, viteria completa sigillata a parte, il gruppo con i bruciatori arriva già montato(meno problemi). struttura solida, visti altri bbq di marca a pari prezzo che hanno strutture meno solide, le lamiere sono perfette e di buon spessore, ottima verniciatura, nessun difetto, si incastrano perfettamente con la struttura. difetti io ho riscontrato solo piccole cose, lo scaldavivande che si toglie dalla sede, non cade e non crea problemi di funzionalità basta rimetterlo in sede. il bbq è completamente chiuso davanti e aperto dietro, e non si può sfruttare la parte sotto comoda per riporre atrezzi o varie, non può nemmeno essere usato per riporre la bombola(una da 10 kg non ci sta si dovrebbe usare quelle piccole da campeggio, e comunque in cottura è vietato e va posta ad almeno un m) conclusioni Barbecue veramente bello e solido, facile da usare, versatile gas carbonella pietra lavica.. pienamente soddisfatto
