Great cover for my recliner. Cat doesn’t scratch on the chair arms

I’m only giving 3 stars because there are a couple of improvements that would make this item much better. After using it for a week or so I became frustrated with how it would shift around on the seat, eventually becoming bunched up toward the back. My wife had the idea to sew on some extra elastic bands, one on each arm toward the bottom to wrap around the arms of the chair and one that wraps around the underside of the leg rest. This seems to have eliminated the problem of the slip cover sliding out of position.

Very cozy feel to the velvety fabric. The 23” ft my recliner, but I also ordered a 28” for my other recliner because it was on sale, marked “used, new condition” . The new 23 inch had loose threads, so I’m returning. The “used” 28 inch is perfect. The generous fit of the 28 “ is more attractive so I will order another of that size. My seat width on both chairs is 23”.

Works as described. Quality is okay.
