More useful than I thought.
I have a small water leak into my Land Rover. I knew where it was coming from seam and it was proving to be a problem. A friend told me about Captain Tolleys years ago. I was pleased to see that it was still available. So, the only thing to decide was whether to go for the small bottle or the big one. I am so glad that I opted to buy the Bigger bottle. Since buying it, I have used it on numerous items for sealing. It's a great product and works well. I like the fact that as a liquid form it's white colour and therefore easy to see but then goes transparent upon drying. What could be better?

Easy to use and extraordinarily effective.
Very effective. Used to fix common leak on Ford Focus estate roof- which can be a big job. Likewise sealed a screen leak that I'd put up with on an older vehicle for years. It does flow very freely so be aware and ready to mop up the excess.

Ingenious product, badly designed package
This stuff is brilliant, it's packaged very badly. First the good, if you've got a tiny leak somewhere or a pipe leaking at a thread, drip this stuff in and it's gone, heals small cracks in vessels quickly and easily, it creeps into the cracks that cause the leak and seals them in a few minutes. The negative is how it's packaged, you have to pierce (not cut) the top of the bottle. However, the style of the top lends itself to being cut so we cut it, then had to reseal it by melting it back together, and then putting a pin prick in the top of it again! After opening, the lid doesn't seal it properly (ironically) - even when you open it properly with a pin prick - so if it's not stored vertically it either leaks or seals the lid to itself!

An amazing product
I used this to repair a concrete fountain reservoir which had suffered numerous fine cracks due to hard frosts over the last winter. I'd already made various attempts with epoxy resins but nothing worked and I'd resigned myself to scrapping the fountain when I came across Captain Tolley on the web. It worked brilliantly - I applied the sealer to the cracks and it immediately penetrated deep inside them. I reapplied until it stopped disappearing into the cracks and then left overnight. On filling the fountain next morning there was no sign of leakage anywhere. That was several weeks ago, and there has been no leakage whatsoever. BRILLIANT! I've got loads left for any future repairs, so it was well worth its cost.

I have a non leaky Landy!!
So, I was vexed with the Land Rover curse of being unable to find the hidden leak on my Land Rover Defender roof. Bought this to try in an attempt to stop water finding its way in. Tips : don’t cut the tip off, just a very small pin hole. This stuff is watery. Make sure you have a cloth to wipe up excess. It dries clear which is great as my roof is black and leaves no sign that it’s there! Which is great. This stuff literally flows uphill so I’ve done my window seals also! First rain, NO LEAKS!! RESULT!!!

Life saver!
Had a small leak in one of my windows, I couldn't find the source of it, tried more silicone but didn't work, this stuff worked first time, doesn't take a lot of it but works brilliantly.

What nobody tells you!
I suppose this stuff works, well I hope it does! However I found it went every where not just over the hairline crack and its very runny. But please ensure you do not spill any on the perspex windows and it will melt into them. Leaving them with a big ugly mark on them!!

Seals hidden and hard to find leaks.
Needed this to seal a leak on the boat. It was a little tricky to open since you only need a tiny hole. Once opened its very thin and easy to apply. It seems to have sealed the leak so perfect

I have been using this product for more than 10 years on my boat. It is great for filling in very small hairline cracks that cause water to leak through the deck. You need to apply it at least two or three times, but it is very effective.

Plus liquide que de l'eau ? C'est vrai. Je l'ai utilisé pour remplir des microfissures d'un plateau de douche. C'est simple à utiliser et efficace

Ok, here's the story. Bought a smashed gooseneck horsetrailer that was aluminum and stainless and 20+ years old. Most of the rivets were original. After we put a fully new front end on it, I wasn't the best at (coughs) punching in the rivets. Ok, so I weigh a bit over 100 lbs and couldn't quite get enough leverage to pop them in straight with the rivet gun. As a precaution, we added clear caulk into the holes and around the sides, just in case. Well, it leaked BADLY (thnkfully we hadn't furnished the inside yet). I read on an airstream forum that they LOVED Tolley's. So I figured I'd give it a shot! FIRST: it's about like water, so BE PREPARED Second: it leaves a coat on shiny surfaces, but I THINK you can remove that with acetone (I have yet to try). THIRD: you might need several applications For some reason I ahd thought this could be used when holes were still wet, but it said must be fully dry. This means if coat 1 dries a day and you run the hose over it 20 miutes and find water inside, you now have to wait a few days to hope those leaks dry out before adding more Tolley's. You CAN get decent at applying a careful drizzle around rivets without dumping the whole bottle down the side. I ended up with 3 coats on most of the rivets and might do one last coat when I get a warm spell, JUST to be sure. A lot goes a long ways. Worth the price, and I think this would be great for any project with rivets :D

Very low viscosity wich can be both good and bad. Seals thin gaps but wont fill anything. The product itself looks and feels like the stuff commonly used as moisture sealer under tiles etc. that you buy for a fraction in the home improvement market.
