Worth buying again after 5 years.
Great product. Just don’t leave it out in the sun or the mesh will desintegrate. I bought one 5 years ago and it has lasted me this long in pretty good shape. Left it in the sun last season and it faded and the net started to tear this year. I do record it as I bought a replacement just now. See the difference in the picture of a new vs one that is 5 years old.

Perfect skimmer
I just recently moved into a new house with a nice sized pool. I don't know much about caring for them, but I do know how to clean one. I also use this to catch those little gecko buggers that sneak into my house, lol. This works great for pulling out leaves and debris from the pool. Although my pool is caged in, I still get geckos and spiders and gnats floating every once and a while. It's strong netting will last long.

New necessity
My yard guy told me I needed a deep net skimmer with a spatula edge to scrape up the large piles of debris that fell into the pool during fall and winter. We have lots of pine trees and crepe myrtles, so leaves AND pine straw. Amazon had this one for $39.99. It arrived quickly and does a pretty good job. It is a bit unwieldy when using it with a 20 foot pole, but I REALLY like how the net just inverts when you shake it out—everything just falls out, you flip it around and it’s ready for another go. When my yard guy saw it he said his is better because it has a flexible rubber spatula that is replaceable, but I didn’t see one like that. This serves MY purposes—I just want to get the big stuff out so that the pool sweep can be more efficient. It holds a Lot and traps it nicely so that when you pull it up from the bottom of the deep end nothing is floating back out. I’m a 65 year old woman and I can use it.
