Great filters ceramic at both ends I was using product called absorbo activated carbon filters at 4 pounds per 30 pack at my local shop / tobacconist where I get my condor and pipes but they ran out so I looked on Amazon and found these great reviews so I thought 180 for 20 pounds why not eh , but I’m glad did as the last brand I used were plastic at one end and ceramic plus these are really good filters and I’m definitely buying again and sticking with this brand next order I’ll subscribe for for automatic order every 2 months so I won’t run out highly recommended I went with free delivery on the Monday they arrived on the Wednesday from West Midlands to the northeast overall very happy these are my go too pipe filters here on in

Excellent 9mm filter from leading brand. Do what it says on the tin. Priced a tad high, mind you. They'll fit any 9mm pipe, Italian, German or Irish, whether drilled for charcoal or balsa wood. I use these for aromatics, and any stickier tobacco, as they absorb excessive moisture. Good for one smoke, then replace them. Ceramic cap, charcoal pellets. They'll eliminate any gurgle you get from dampish tobacco or a longer, or bent stem, mopping up condensation, and making cleaning your pipe less work. Of course, you'll need to dissemble your pipe each time, rather than simply rum a pipe cleaner through it. But these are a handy piece of kit for solving the dreaded gurgle.

I use them in my [smoking] pipes, now many pipes are made to take filters. Although I was reluctant, at first, I've grown to appreciate them, in particular as I'm a "wet" smoker, [many pipe smokers will understand the point].

I am new to the Pipe world, as such I do like to have quality products to make my discovery journey more reliable, thus I was glad to see that the quality of these filters is top notch, German made, plus I like the fact that it has a colored tip (blue) to properly insert the filter in the correct airflow direction. All in all, I am glad of the purchase.
