It really is a great book to study grammar on your own. I passed my exam (Cambridge C1) without attending lessons only with this book.It has lots of exercises and examples. The explanations are very clear.Great study material

This book is generally considered difficult but it has helped all my students with accuracy in writing. It's designed for foreign speakers and the advanced and proficiency qualifications but I use it in my gcse and a- level classes and it does wonders for native speakers. It develops a good language bank for students and it frees up their expression and writing skills. As opposed to a lot of language study books, once a student has completed the exercises it is impossible not to have a much improved level of English.

I bought this grammar online (I am Italian) bue cause I needed to studi advanced English for an ammissione test at uni.. I fondo it really useful and wall structured, full of up-to-date examples and many exercises. Really glad I found it!
