My sister in law has Alzheimers and is bed ridden in a nursing home. She instantly started fiddling with this. Excellent mental stimulation

they are a bit expensive but my sister loved all the different textures

For my mother in law who has late stage dementia, didn’t expect much reaction from her but was very surprised in that she seems to love fiddling with this blanket.Seems well built apart from the fringe section which she tugs on and we had to cut them off, only negative is the price which I believe is over priced for what it actually is…just my opinion

Bought to try and distract elderly mum from incessant picking and fiddling with her ears and nails. It didn't really catch her attention unfortunately but is an attractive item with lots of different textures. As with all things dementia related, one size doesn;t fit all so might be worth a try for your loved one.
