I wouldn't order any other paper for my art. It has the perfect texture for me, using either graphite or faber castelle polychromos colour pencils. Would highly recommend it

I’m fairly new to graphite drawing, I usually paint watercolours and was using watercolour paper for graphite work. Sometimes it works well if you need texture on buildings etc but this heavyweight paper gives a wonderful effect, particularly on skies it makes it easier to blend the graphite.

I had been searching online for the best paper for using the 'Indenting Technique' I even left posts on the sketching forums and got no response, so in the end I purchased Daler-Rowney Smooth 220 gsm A4 Heavyweight Drawing Paper to test it for myself. I had tried a pad of Daler-Rowney Smooth 150 gsm but did not get the result I was looking for.If you are sketching any animals, cats, dogs, or birds and are looking for sharp whiskers, feathered edges on feathers or highlighted fur using the indenting method using a embossing stylus then this paper is for you.

I can't get enough of this wonderful sketching paper i have A3 A4 A5 it really is a pleasure to use not flimsy but a good thickness one you can get stuck into also i have used it to do loose watercolours which have gone very well

I always do realism when I draw with lots of layers, unfortunately, you can't have more than 3,4 layers with this paper

Papier semi lisse et sans acide tels que celui des marques Canson & Clairefontaine, dont le prix est plus raisonnable !Mais travailler avec ce papier est un réel plaisir, surtout si l'on veut reproduire les poils, les cheveux ou la fourrure, d'ailleurs, beaucoup d'artistes animaliers dessinant avec les polychromos ou les Prismacolor ne jurent que par ce papier, tant les crayons sont agréables à utiliser avec lui !

Es un placer dibujar en este papel ,quedan unos difuminos muy suaves y se pueden lograr buenos detalles también, tiene una textura que me encanta para el grafito.La primera vez que lo compré llego el papel dañado en las esquinas , pero esta vez me arriesgué a pedir 2 unidades y llegaron en perfecto estado.

I use this for mixed media experimentation and will collage it into a sketchbook. Good price and handles watercolor plus acrylics and mark making.
