Step Down Voltage 220v to 110v Converter, Travel Power Voltage Converter 220V to 110V 500W, Good Power Transformer for Overseas, Step Down Converter - US to Europe Voltage Converter

Needed a way to step down the voltage for my nonuniversal electrical devices. Most computers and cell phones have universal chargers so all you need is an adapter to be able to connect Euro to American plugs. This is a pretty heavy device but it works for my devices that need 120. Has a decent amount of power it can supply to keep your devices safe as high voltage is a big no no. It’s heavy so keep that in mind as you pack that you’ll have to trade the weight of this for some other heavier items. Works great. Gets a little warm. 110V and 100V ports. Make sure you use the right one otherwise your devices may not function. Replaceable fuse is handy. Keeps the device from over current situations.

I ended up ordering the UMI Portable voltage transformer after researching other “contenders” for my money. UMI met the requirements I was looking for in the portable power adapter. My requirements for power adapter/converter were simple-Convert from 110V to 220V,Have multiple socket adapters so that way I can use the product for different situations/countries.Must be travel size, it works great for my appliance, and easy to take away,and so great for travel abroad,and I found they have one bigger and two smaller voltage transformers,you can choose the suitable one,I will buy from UMI again.

Bought this in anticipation of overseas travel, but didn't realize how heavy it was. I guess in retrospect even the claimed 6 pounds would be pretty heavy, but this came in at 7.36 pounds on my scale, and it's pretty good sized at that. I'll assume it does the conversion from 220 down to 110 just fine (this is the 500 watt version) because I don't have a way to test for that not now being in a country that has 220, but if those specs work for you just realize that most devices that do this conversion are going to be similarly sized/weighted. I'll knock a star off because of the mistated weight, but other than that the construction quality appears top-notch (i.e. deserving of five stars).

I love this step down converter.. very good quality and worked as advertised. I love that it's not as expensive as other converters but works the same way. Really happy with it

This is looks pretty good with couple of outlets, 1 for 100V and 1 for 110V. The transformer is a bit heavy which is somewhat expected. The 500W one is 8.8 lbs and the surface is non slippery so easy to hold and manuer it around. It would have been good to have a couple more outlets at the output so it would be easy to use with multiple products

Input voltage is 220V,output voltage is 110V,this transformer is used in India with US Appliances. Like the size and weight and super easy to use. Used many step down transformers in India and this one looks (the best ever) sleek rather than industrial.

Dud, mine blew out immediately. This was a review product so no return was needed or requested.

This converter/transformer seem to be very well constructed. It's kind of on the heavy side, but solid built. Works just fine.
