Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Shampoo

I love this shampoo. Every time I’ve tried switching to a cheaper one my hair has suffered. I’ve been using it for around 5 years now. I have wavy hair that gets oily quickly (always been this way) and this works great. Recently it had made my scalp a little itchy after but it was only when I was washing my hair daily and had really hard water in the US. In the UK it’s never been an issue. It leaves my hair so smooth and healthy. My hair dresser always comments on how good my hair looks! It doesn’t leave build up like other cheaper shampoos. My boyfriend has very curly textured hair and it was too drying for him as he needs a lot of moisture. So might not be for that hair type. Smells nice and lathers up really well!

I had this shampoo used on me at a hairdresser and I didn't know if the resulting softness was the shampoo or the hairdresser's skill in blowdrying. Turns out to be a bit of both. I do feel the difference in my hair after using this - you don't need much - and it also seems to leave it tangle free and therefore much easier to style. I have fine hair but lots of it and this shampoo really seems to improve the condition. I've also found that if I've had a build up of hair products settling on my hair this shampoo will remove the gunk but not leave any residue itself. The bottle itself has a press down and squeeze tab on the cap so you don't squirt too much out which can help prevent using too much. Very good value I think for what it does.

Love this product have used it on & off for years. No local salons sell it anymore. Smells great works well on my very thick dry hair

Love this product! First used it 30 years ago in Canada and always got excellent results. Thought I’d try it again….and it’s even better than I remember. My hair is so shiny (it’s always been in great condition) I constantly get compliments on the shine. Highly recommend this and the other Paul Mitchel products

I have been using this shampoo for years and just think it's the best. It is gentle on hair and scalp and smells really good as well. A bit expensive, but worth it. I would highly recommend it.

Lovely shampoo. Smell's nice and it makes my hair soft. Easy to use. You only need a small amount.

The product is good but it was not sealed properly.

I have used SO many products iver the years and always go back to Paul Mitchell. They make quality products and the price isn't as high as say Redken or Olaplex but works just as good, or for me better. My hair is silky without being weighed down and soft after use. Always happy with them. The scent is light and not overpowering, which is big for me. Hair is hydrated without being oily looking. Great for all hair types! I will be a repeat customer as long as they are out there!
