Fjällräven Kånken Backpack, Pink

A good bag. Package was left out in the rain, propped against next door's wheelie bin, despite people being in the house.

I had considered getting a Kanken a few years ago, but decided to go for a more traditional city backpack that would have better padding for the back and shoulders, as well as some more space. And now that I finally got it, I realised how wrong I was! My main use for my bags is just carrying some essential stuff when out and about in the city (like a water bottle, an umbrella, powerbanks and chargers, a couple of books and notepads, a lunchbox, my work uniform etc). That stuff fits comfortably in the Kanken and there is still enough space for some light shopping, even though it looked impossible when I first saw it. Here are some things that really make this bag so ideal for the city: - The size and the shape. Due to the maintained square shape you can stack thinks on top of the other with no fear of them getting all messy, compressed or make the back use uncomfortable. - The deep side pockets. By putting my umbrella there I save so much space from the interior! The front pocket is also useful, but kinda small and typical for a backpack, as well as the "laptop" sleeve. - The thin shoulder strips! It is funny how I saw this as a disadvantage, because it proved to be such a good choice eventually. Being on the move in a city with little time and space at moments (like when commuting or shopping), I often find myself at situations where I have to hang the bag on one shoulder and while walking or checking my phone. With my previous well padded bag this was a nightmare as it could only stay at this position for seconds before falling down. It is also easier to wear over layers of clothes and makes me less sweaty. Oh, and by the way it is not uncomfortable at all! - The big and sturdy hanging strips. Another genius choice. No need to describe, anybody with a backpack in the city knows. - The fact that the zippers open such a big part of the bag. Resembles a suitcase, makes organising or just finding stuff stored at the bottom so much easier. Also these are some great quality zippers. Summing it up, this is the epitome of a well thought out product. Even though there are no crazy hidden compartments or much to talk about, the designers have managed to solve all the basic problems anyone could come across, in a way that nobody else has. I could only wish for a bigger side pocket that would hold my 750ml reusable bottle, but oh well.

I'm a KS1 teacher and frequently take folders and a laptop (13" mac) to and from work. This bag is a perect size, and, due to it's very rectangular shape, has not crumpled my loose sheets of paper. This is brilliant as though I love my other backpack, the curved top meant my paperwork often got crumpled on the corners. I would say that though my laptop fit very nicely inside, I wouldn't put it in without a sturdy case as the bag has no padding at all, anywhere. I bought this bag expecting to do exactly that as clearly frmo the pictures, the bag has no padding. The straps are more comfortable than I expected, but are essentially just 'strapping' material, which when heavily loaded and carried on bare skin probably wouldn't be so comfy. There are no internal pockets. I really like how the zips open basically the entire front pannel of the backpack, meaning I can easily 'slot in' and layer up my essentials. This bag is exactly as described and in my opinion is certainly not fake. The material quality is good, sturdy, and the colour is true to the picture. I chose graphite as this is not too 'dark' but also won't show marks too clearly.

Save for some minor hiccups upon delivery, this backpack is looking to become one of my favourites. I have a Hershcel backpack that I carry to college every day but the thing that irked me the most was its lack of pockets. I was really surprised to find that this backpack came with not only a compartment to slide my Macbook in within the bag itself but two side pockets to tuck in a water bottle or an umbrella, something which I hadn't noticed when I first ordered it here. My only minor issue is how small the front pocket is though which limits the amount of things I can keep inside. Overall, this bag isn't just aesthetically pleasing, it's exceptionally handy (it comes with a reflector too!) too and does a good job for a college student like me.

As a final year university student I have to carry a lot of heavy textbooks as well as my laptop to the library most days so I was looking for a durable rucksack that was also stylish. I had seen quite a few people with the Fjällräven Kanken rucksacks and I just love the look of them. I was skeptical whether this rucksack would fit all my stuff as it looks fairly small from the outside, but decided to go ahead with the purchase anyway since I had an Amazon voucher. I was pleasantly surprised when the bag arrived, the colour is more blue than grey, and it has a huge amount of space on the inside with a pouch I can put my laptop into. Although this is quite an expensive bag it's a great investment, it will probably last me a few good years and is plain enough for me to not get fed up of.

It is an amazing backpack! Beautiful colour ('Warm Yellow')! Good quality brand! Great for traveling (plane, train, car, bus, coach, boat, e.c.t), suitable size (37x29x18 cm) for all company requirements. Also wonderful for school (that is what it was originally designed for), the straps are comfortable, even when carrying weight (3-5 kg). The straps are changeable if found uncomfortable, for some padded ones. The front pocket can carry a small umbrella, or a thin rain coat, or a small cosmetics bag, e.c.t. With everyday use it can get a little dirty, but it is machine washable. The round logo (on the front) acts as a cat eye. I found the picture to be true to the actual colour. I really enjoy using mine, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable backpack (for everyday use). I am actually interested in buying another in 'Peach Pink' too.

Bought this bag to replace a red one I had that became too dirty. I love the dark green with red handles. The material seems more rigid and more waterproof than my previous one but that’s better! I think since I discovered these Nordic bags there is no going back to any others. They are extremely user-friendly, large but not too large and stylish! Also of great quality because my previous one being a light color became dirty but after two years of constant use still remained in excellent condition. Am sure this one will last me many years and I would totally recommend this brand Fjallraven!

I use this Kanken backpack for work and also when travelling, and it’s been really reliable. It’s lightweight, comfortable to carry, and fits more than it looks. The design is simple but sturdy, and the material feels durable. A practical everyday bag that works well for different situations

Ich habe die Farbe Orchid genommen. Farbe ist wie auf dem Bild und schön kräftig. Der Rucksack scheint stabil zu sein und hat eine sehr gute Qualität! Definitiv zu empfehlen!

Prima di acquistare questo zaino mi sono informata sulla qualità e ho cercato recensioni su youtube. Ordinato il 26/10 tramite Prime è arrivato il 27/10, pertanto mi sento di definire eccellente il servizio di Amazon. Consiglio di comprare la versione venduta e spedita da Amazon perché è assolutamente autentica. Anche se il prodotto non ha bisogno di presentazioni, ecco qualche considerazione. I materiali sono premium al tatto e i dettagli ben definiti. Lo zaino non è grande, è praticamente paragonabile a una borsa ma è molto bello e soprattutto le zip permettono di aprilo tutto in modo da farlo diventare molto capiente in profondità. All'interno della tasca porta pc (non imbottita nella versione classic) ci entra alla perfezione un laptop da 14 pollici senza custodia, ma lo zaino risulta troppo piccolo per un pc da 15,6 pollici. Tuttavia è perfetto per i viaggi come bagaglio a mano oppure per le gite fuori porta, la scuola, l'università o l'ufficio. Io sono alta 1,68 e consiglio pertanto questa versione agli adulti, perché la versione mini sembrerebbe davvero troppo piccola. (Considerate che questo zaino sembra molto più piccolo di un normale zaino Eastpak, per intenderci, nonostante la capienza sia praticamente la stessa, ovvero 16 litri.) Nei due scomparti laterali ci entrano perfettamente una bottiglietta d'acqua e un ombrello da borsa, tuttavia consiglio di ficcare prima questi due oggetti e poi riempire lo zaino perché le tasche laterali sottraggono spazio dallo scomparto principale. Il colore grigio grafite è molto particolare, somiglia vagamente a un color jeans ma ovviamente più tendente al grigio che al blu. Lo zaino venduto e spedito da Amazon è assolutamente autentico. Gli accorgimenti per verificare l'autenticità sono: - Il materiale deve essere morbido al tatto ma water resistant e non deve essere plasticoso tipo i normali zaini. Il tessuto è molto più fitto. Inoltre il colore deve essere sempre tendente all'opaco e non sgargiante. - Il logo al centro deve in qualche modo essere riflettente - I bottoni e le cerniere devono avere su sia il logo che la scritta fjallraven (attenzione perché questo talvolta è un particolare che si trova anche sui cloni) - sul cellophane c'è un'etichetta con codice del modello, taglia e colore - sulla tasca interna c'è un'etichetta con nome, cognome e indirizzo da compilare - sul lato destro di questa tasca interna è presente inoltre una piccola bandierina della Svezia - nella tasca esterna ci deve essere un opuscolo sui prodotti Fjallraven - non devono esserci fili penzolanti dalle cuciture perché esse sono molto rifinite nell'originale
