How much should I pour in the tank for a first use?

If tank is empty, add quarter of it to tank. Drive then fill up at pump. Or you can add more if you wish, but watch out if adding too much. I had my car misfire once because I added all of contents. And it was a 5.0 m5, this stuff can be tough for the fuel pump

Is this for Diesel engines?

I have used LUCAS UPPER CYLINDER LUBRICANT since 2005 on last 3 diesel cars and have found it invaluable in fuel economy,power and cleanliness of emissions.My cars have been over 8yrs old and would recommend it to all...My local taxi drivers swear by it...

Does this treatment protect your vehicle from the effects of E10 (10%) ethanol fuel?

Would surmise, as a fuel "Cleaner" it would do the same on E10 as with other petrol fuels E5 etc. Although NOT 100% sure ( question the actual manufactures by email ), it would not deter myself from continuing to use it. Sorry, a bit ambiguous, or try a local chemisrty lab. hope this is Some help. Loopy75.
