Kids Party Themes: Party planning guide to a successful and fun children's party (Party Planning Series) Paperback – March 4, 2014

Ok for someone who lacks creativity and has had little to no experience party planning. Most of the suggestions were amateur for me as I have gone Pinterest crazy planning parties and have had tons of inspiration that route. Overall the author does good at throwing some ideas out specific to themes. I also like the suggestion to picking 3 colors to highlight in a theme. It's easy for me to go overboard. Sometimes simplicity says the most.

These are not only great Kid party ideas but also some would be lots of fun for adults - like the "What I wanted to be when I was 5" (or the kid version - What I want to be when I grow up), and the Murder Mystery Night. Whether you're planning a party for younger kids, older kids, crafty kids, active kids, or "kids" who just refuse to grow up - this book will give you tons of ideas!

This book is full of fun and contemporary party ideas for kids. It offers party planning tips along with a lot of ideas for very little kids and older kids too.

There were lots of great ideas in Kids Party Themes, with practical suggestions on how to go about planning and how to "theme" your party around the many themes presented in the book. This is a great book for those needing ideas of how to throw their children a party - much of the brainstorming and thinking has been done for you.

Nothing impressed about this guide book. Very, very basic. U r better off at looking through Pinterest. At least there's pictures u can see on Pinterest.

For someone who can be "creatively" challenged at times when it comes to putting parties together this book is just what I needed.I particularly liked the "how to theme the party" sections, really useful. Oh and the Murder Mystery Night idea brilliant!This book will help you plan and create a great party for not only kids of all ages, but adults too.

You would think that when you see the list of themes that this book will be full of amazing ideas but its absolutely terrrible. There is no one picture and not even an illustration to give you more of a feel for the book. The book is cheap but I couldn't help feeling that I could have written it myself by copying and pasting stuff from the internet. Don't waste your money. I would have sent the book back but the cost of returning will outweigh the cost of the book so Im stuck!

This book contains ideas for parties with many different themes, literally something for every taste / budget. it is not too prescriptive, there is room to adapt or mix and match ideas from several themes. great for confident parents who just need inspiration.
