Bad packaging
Cherries are good a little expensive but downfall is packaging they arrived in cardboard box which is not sealed so a lot of the sugar syrup spilled onto all the other items in delivery!!! The box is soft also, so it’s easy for the cherries to get squashed

Great for use in my Christmas cake.
I have used these a couple of times in my Christmas cake and they have given good results. They add to the taste and do not disappear into the background when the cake is baked. Quite expensive compared to ordinary shop bought cherries but worth it.

Simply Lush
I make a fruit cake every 10 days or so and have one in the oven right now, (a cake I mean) this being my second with these particularly lush glacé cherries. They are a far cry from the various supermarkets’ own brand - these are firmer and almost crisp to the bite and which, believe it or not actually have the taste of a cherry. After being soaked for 24 hours with the rest of the fruit in French brandy and tea and finally transformed into a loaf cake, the overall taste is rich, lush and deliciously exquisite! It is, truly! I thoroughly recommend - I shall be back for more most definitely.
