My daughter is very happy with this barre. We assembled it together, the pieces feel sturdy, it's easy to adjust/move the parts to fit your room, the wood bar is a good size for a middle-schooler to grip, and she will be able to use it for many years as we adjusted the bar a few inches below its top height.

I read a lot of reviews prior to purchasing this ballet barre. I have been very happy with it. It is sturdy and can be adjusted for different height levels to accommodate people of all sizes. The wooden barre portion is very smooth, and I have not had any problems with splinters as other people indicated. Several reviews had commented on the sturdiness of it. I am doing traditional ballet barre exercises, and the only time it moves is when I'm doing stretches with one leg on the bar going down with my hands to the floor. It hasn't flipped over, but it does wobble a little. Some people have rectified this by placing sandbags or weights on the bottom of the barre, and I think that's a good remedy. Otherwise, this suits my needs perfectly, and I love being able to do ballet in my home.

I ordered this one after considering a lot of different options. Arrived on time and the base is strong and stable (either for ballet or barre) However, if you're considering using it for floor-related barre exercise (such as the one we do in pure barre) this will not work as well as it won't hold still while you're pulling from below. Also, keep in mind that with the barre being unfinished wood there's some risk for splinters. I plan on getting a cover for mine (or ask my husband to sand and seal). All in all a great purchase at a good price.

I love having a ballet bar for my Sleek and BB workouts. The bar is a great height and holds up well for balance moves. I would like to see a little weight to it though, I put 10 pound weights on each leg to hold it to the ground. I find that when I do a few moves, I want to pick the bar up, it is very light. It is exactly as stated in the description, light and portable.. it meets the standards as described.

We bought this bar for our 8 year old dancer. She uses it for ballet stretches and combinations. Overall it suits her needs perfectly, however without the help of sandbags it doesn't seem very stable. Once my husband thought of this handy way to keep it stable, it was perfect

Was a gift for our granddaughter. Just what she wanted. Very light needs to be weighed down for use

It's perfect for my 12 yr old ballerina daughter. She uses it to stretch and practice. It was easy to assemble and it's as sturdy as you can tighten. The more you can tighten it the sturdier it will be. For the price, you can't beat it

My daughter takes dance classes with her old dance teacher in Rhode Island via FaceTime. She needed a barre for the ballet class. This one is height adjustable. It also can be taken apart very quickly for storage. She takes the class in her bedroom, so storage is important. High quality, smooth wood. Highly recommend.

I received this very quickly so as far as shipping time, excellent. Putting it together was easy too, however, I would have preferred holes for inserting the different heights for the barre as it feels like it could easily loosen. Also, without some 20lb weights that I have placed on the feet, it is quite unstable. I think I should have purchased the wall mounted option but I do like the portability of this model. Kind of expensive for the lack of stability but overall will suffice for my barre workouts.

This ballet barre is less than 9 pounds and is the reason I chose not to accept it when it arrived. I did find a slightly more expensive but more stable barre on another site. Unfortunately, the company and Amazon decided to deduct the shipping charges from my payment. This meant I actually paid close to one-third the total cost of the item itself.I understand paying for the return but not both ways. FedEx assured me that I would not pay for returning the item.Was I satisfied with the interchange? Not in the least.

This is the perfect portable barre for my daughter to practice her ballet. It was very easy to put together and to adjust the height as needed.
