Why did you pick this product vs others?: If you have cast iron skillets, you will love this spatula. The main reason I chose this one is the metal runs full length up the handle so there's no chance of the handle bending or breaking off like the last few I tried. The metal is a little thicker and more sturdy so you can press as hard as you want... you can flatten hamburger into shape... and maybe the best part is the end and sides are sharpened so you can scrape any stuck food from your cast iron skillets. No need to scrub and damage the seasoning of your skillet. This spatula is very sturdy so you can flip even the heaviest items without it bending. The handle is secure and well made. Not loose like others I've tried. This is a better value and better quality than the one I paid over twice the price for. I HIGHLY recommend this spatula.

While the spatula was slightly larger than I expected I have been pleased with the quality and overall utility. At first glance I thought it would be too cumbersome to use in my pans compared to those I have used before, however it turned out to be just the utensil needed. Feels durable and well made, the edges easily slip under eggs, burgers, cookies, whatever is needed. Very happy with purchase.

A heavy and fine metal spatula with a nice handle and beveled edges. Very nice!!

I was nervous about the size at first, being used to a long handle and short 'blade', but the dimensions are perfect. The spatula isn't very flexible (at all), but it's great for cutting and smashing things in the skillet. I like that the end isn't angled. I can't remember how sharp the corners were when I bought it. I filed the edges smooth because the top bevel had a grooved texture which might have been intended to grip food, or else it was a product of sloppy machining. I really like that this spatula is sturdy enough to effectively scrape the bottom of my skillet. That means I don't have to clean it anymore, right? I haven't had any issues with the finish coming off the handle, as other reviewers have reported. Edit (2 years later) Spatula is still fine. I am mindful of the finish on the wooden handle - when I clean it I can feel the additional grip of the scrub pad as it tries to bite in, so I try to be gentle. As of now the finish is maybe a little faded and wearing through at the edges, but no splintering or chunks missing. Now that I've been using it a while I'm kind of frustrated with the stiffness. I think this spatula is intended for something large and flat, like a griddle. In my iron skillet (flat bottom, steep sides), it's very difficult to slide under something delicate like an egg. I have kinda-sorta solved this issue by doing fiberglass-egg composites, but it's not ideal.

The spatula is made of great quality, very solid. It is utilize on the bbq, and easy to clean up.

This spatula met all my expectations of what a professional spatula should be. It is on the heavy side but perfectly balanced. The spatula sides are beveled so that they easily loosen particles that might be stuck to the skillet. The wooden handle is sturdy and well crafted. Altogether this is a most excellent kitchen tool.

I was looking for a well priced spatula available in Australia for general purpose cast iron cooking, in a skillet and on the hotplate, smash burgers etc. Ideally a replica of the well reviewed MÄNNKITCHEN spatula which is a bit overpriced and not easily available here. This definitely does the job. Sturdy, and with an offset that works great for a cast iron pan. Should last forever if I look after it.

Excellent for my purpose (morning breakfast). It is stiff so it doesn't flex. Metal is thicker than on some other i have. It is good and bad, I actully don't mind it. Handle is wood and looks like it might need some extra care.

This is top quality. Do not soak wooden handle in water though. I use mine daily and have to warn others to not soak the handle in water when doing dishes.

I bought it for barbequing but it is much smaller than I expected (likely my fault for not checking the description). We just use it for general kitchen use. Good quality for the price, aside from the finish on the wood handle being not great (so not the prettiest, but perfectly functional and durable).
