I bought this for my daughter-in-law for Christmas, because she had admired a similar one I had. This one was cuter, because, you know, it was pink! After years of trying to cut straight lines I had marked on paper, I began using this to cut instead. It was so much easier to use, and there are safety features that prevent me from cutting off a finger or something. The blade is sharp and smooth, and the light weight makes this paper cutter a dream to use.

Purchased this in mid sept. The handle did seem a little off. We put it on and it worked so we thought nothing of it. We used it 2 times and the handle broke and noone would validate a replacement. Will not buy again nor buy any of their products. A paper cutter should last more than 2 months

The blade is very sharp and cuts nicely but it's very hard to decide where to cut when you place the paper underneath the blade you can't tell exactly where it's coming down so it's very difficult to get it the first time

UPDATE: I wrote this review a while back, but it just went live in mid-November, and today (Dec. 1), the manufacturer reached out to offer a full refund. This was a pleasant surprise and speaks well of the company. MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: A little flimsy, and the blade assembly isn’t heavy enough to handle more than three or four sheets without drifting off-center and tearing the bottom edge of the paper, but you get what you pay for. If I had it to do over, I’d spring for a good, sturdy Swingline like the one I donated to my old school, but this one will work for the time being. If you understand the limitations and go slowly, it will work well enough for occasional use.

I’m not against inexpensive things I’m against sellers that sell poorly made inexpensive things. This cutter is very poorly made! I take care of all the things I own, the handle on this cutter cracked and broke off when I tried to cut regular paper, not construction paper, or any type of thick paper. I use this cutter three times and half the time the cuts was not straight. Now I believe glue was used to connect the handle to the base which sucks because (I’m handy & probably could have fix it) it broke in pieces. SAVE YOUR HARD EARN MONEY. Just wait to buy a way better cutter. ACCURACY 1 LIGHT WEIGHT 5 STURDINESS 1

Good sharp blade. Cuts well and straight.

This cutter is nice. It was not aligned well and the paper is unevenly cutting, but other than that, its okay.

Cuts straight and very sharp. Have used for cutting 12 inch or 30cm vinyl floor tiles easily. Keep a slight tension inward, as you would with scissors, and gives a clean straight cut. Better than I expected.
