I know I wouldn’t be successful in growing the real thing so artificial is fine as they give the necessary effect. They come with a chain fixed to them for hanging purposes. This was not needed in our case. I did though put the balls in the planters upside down and used wire to fix the chain to the planter to stop the chance of them blowing away. I’m very happy with them and from a distance do look quite realistic especially with the slightly different coloured leave here and there. Review: Excellent - Excellent product

Great addition to my friends patio.
These topiary balls are brilliant. They look good and will be perfect to hang on my friends patio with no maintenance as she is disabled. Well worth buying.

Great buxus balls and love the colours
Good price, great shape and the colours look amazing and very natural. Mixture of greens and east to hang. Only slight concern is they are light and blowing around but have secured both with a cable tie to stop them blowing off the hanger. So happy that I have just ordered another.

We bought these to replace an old pair of Homebase topiary balls. They have been up all over summer now and haven’t faded or lost leaves, even in the dreadful summer weather we had this year! Full and leafy and well made. Recommend.
