Are these really cotton? I do not want to get satin. I purchased 2 sets before. 1 set ended up being satin for another listing despite saying cotton.

Mine were cotton, 95% and 86% nylon which is the band and that’s all, the rest is cotton.Now the set of three has 100% cotton. But this set is a better price for six. Just make sure it shows 95% cotton on the one you are ordering.

Is a size 8 underwear a large or extra large?

Probably is large, size 8. So I got size 7. I usually get medium in other items. I wear size 10 jeans at 5’5, 135# if that helps you with choosing best size.

Are these the high cutbriefs?

No, they are hipsters, so the legs are not cut high. The waistband is higher though, so these are pretty full-coverage.
