Great product. Came as advertised. I bought two of them. Not just a great way to keep 100 ft of paracord, but has a built in cutter and spot to keep a lighter so you can burn the cut end when needed. Perfect size. Easy to use.

This is a great way to wrap up your Paracord. It even has a place to keep a Bic lighter. Which is the BIG reason to pay a little bit more to buy this one. The Paracord is generic but good, the cord holder also has a cutter built in as well as a loop for a carabineer ring. Not sure if it needs anything else. Don't think I would clip it outside of my backpack because the lighter compartment lid would be facing down, which would mean losing the lid and your lighter if it ever popped open. There is a retainer string hole in the cap and the body, just missing the fine string. Still faces down though. In spite of this I would highly recommend getting one (or 2 or more if you want different colors), just put it inside your bag, don't hang it.

Keeps 550 cord in good order, cord comes off the spool in a controlled manner without slipping or unspooling. Cutting razor is sharp, notch to hold the paracord end after cutting does indeed hold the cord firmly. The storage compartment will fit a FULL-SIZE Bic; you're not limited to a mini. Recommend connecting the cover of the storage compartment to the body of the spool with a dummy cord: Either a small length of gutted paracord, or a few of the strands from inside the paracord.
