My front bumper has a massive crack down one side where it was crashed. Instead of me buying one would anyone revommed this to work and help?

This is just one of many things you need to do a DIY ona cracked bumper. I suggest you check on YouTube lots of tutorials there, this you will need for the finishing stages.....hard work but not impossible

Would this be good for repairing a gouge in a dashboard?

As long as you're careful, would think it will need a coat of paint tho afterward. I repaired large deep scratches and dents in my bumper no problems with it.

How hard is this putty when its gone off

Hard enough for the repair and it flexes with the bumper so it won't crack.

Is there a grey color in this?

I am not sure but it seems that there is one color on this product. as I searched online I found only Black color under this product number. But you could easily find gray color in different brands. I recommend you to look at this informations about E tech products which may help you to achieve better results: https://issuu.com/autoinparts/docs/ai_new_prod_cat Good luck
