Will this fit a 40" waist?

I am 32 inch waist and it fits perfect. I wouldn't think it would fit a 40 inch waist, but can't say for certain

Would a colt single action army fit ?

It would probably fit but the holster is very light weight and flimsy. Anything heavier than a young child's toy gun would fall out. I wouldn't recommend it for an adult.

What size is the belt?

I can't answer accurately as I no longer have it but it is adult sized, I am a 32inch waist and it fit me with some room (extra notches) to spare

it´s dark brown. Best regards, Kerstin Schmock
