Will my cat/dog get tangled or stuck?

No. The screen is lightweight and the magnetic resistance is low. A 5lb cat or small dog can push through easily. The edges are bound with 3 cm smooth fabric – no rough fiberglass to snag paws or claws.

When installing, raise the centre of the top edge of the screen door by about 1/4 inch compared to the rest of the top edge. This ensures the magnets seal tightly and is key to achieving a successful installation.
