I'm really delighted I chose this after researching various other options. It was so easy to assemble, even for someone who pushes the door marked pull. Mr Bean could have done it! Although the instructions are in German, the pictures were enough and just looking at the bits and working out what went where. It took under half an hour. You do need a screwdriver just so you can tighten everything up. Be aware there are sharp edges inside so be careful assembling. There are 2 sets of racks. One set goes over the charcoal and the other set is to lay on top for the grilling. It easily coped with grilling plenty for 10 people. In fact there was as much meat left over as what we all ate in 2 hours, and we stopped grilling within that time. We did 18 large sausages, 6 really fat sausages, 4 thick burgers and 4 flatter quarterpounders, 6 pork steaks, 24 quick (thin) steaks, 8 square sausage slices, a pack of halloumi slices on it and could have done more but that was what we had available. So enough for about 70 portions altogether. Hopefully that gives you an idea of what it can cope with. Definitely adequate for a larger party than 10. That was using both sides, which each took a 1kg bag of fuel. So you could use just one side and still cook for a regular family on it and also use the other side as a lid. There is a little pole thing that hooks into both sides to keep the lid slightly open if you want to do that. All the racks store inside and you could store a 1kg bag of fuel in there too and close it up. The lock is good and it is easy to carry it. You can see from the photos it still looks nice although burnished rather than silver, after the barbecue was done. I emptied out the cold ash for the bin and just wiped the inside with some weeds from the garden. You can see how clean it looks afterwards. Much better than any other barbecue I have used before. Nothing warped or came loose or anything bad at all.

This is perfect for a small, compact bbq. Easy to assemble, light to carry and doesn't take up much room in shed. Price is also good. It is quite surprising how much food one side can cook. Ideal for 2 people, so would be great for 4 if cooking on both sides. You do need to manage the coals so that you have a hot and cool area to cook on. My first attempt got rather burnt as heat was too fierce right across the bbq , so second attempt i moved coals around for a better cook, and it worked. Food cooked to perfection. With it being small you don't get the larger gap between coal and grill that you get on a regular sized bbq, so bare that in mind as food cooks quicker as nearer the heat. Don't walk away and leave it, you need to keep an eye on it to prevent burning. 1 bag of instant light charcoal lasts a long time and fits well in this bbq. I love mine and am very pleased i purchased this one out of all the small options available . Happy bbqing!

Brilliant bbq easy to carry around would have preferred it being a bit taller so needs to be out on a table unless you don’t mind bending down a lot but other than that great and good value for money

I bought this for my sons birthday. He loves bbqs and meets up with his friends for picnics etc. he was so pleased ( he’s quite difficult to buy for! Having his own family) he put it together easily and it’s great quality. Only time will tell how well it lasts but I’m happy he loved it and it’s small enough to be put in the car for meeting up with friends/family. Definitely would recommend

I bought this after seeing someone use it on the beach. It is so portable but also big enough to use, store & clean in the garden at home. With two grills it is ideal. It was so easy to assemble, just afew screws for the handle & legs. I’m very pleased with this bbq.

I am ordering a replacement for the exact same BBQ of which has served us extremely well camping for over 12 years. Enjoy it whilst it's shiny. After 2-3 BBQ's it will be a dull brown. If you want to keep any BBQ looking nice and shiny for the whole of it's life a great tip would be to not use it. Ours has been abused for 12 years. We burn logs on it after the BBQ to use it as a fire pit. We set the vents to all open and they have never been adjusted. I never clean the grills. I just put them all inside while the coals are heating up at the next BBQ. 20 mins later, the dust just falls off with a light scrape of the fish slice tool and they are ready to be used again. They are black not shiny if you are wondering. As a family man I will add that it is a safe BBQ. We have a aluminium slatted table which we put it on to cook or you'll have a bad back the next day. It keeps it up away from kids. You can move the BBQ while lit by closing the lid and carrying it to its new position ( to the floor for a fire pit) the aluminum slatted table top of outs comes off and we place the slatted part on the ground first which stops it scorching the grass. Resting it on bricks is not ideal as you'd need to have quite a few bricks to make a big base to get all of the legs on and handle when it's open. We have done this many times but the table is preferd. At the end of the night I close the lid and move it out of the way. In the morning I just shake it into a bin -after checking it's cold inside. I store the firelighters, gloves and long lighter inside between uses. It will also hold a light the bag BBQ bag as well if that's what you use. If you want a great BBQ then . The hinge rivets came out. Maybe because we use it as a fire pit but this would have been easily repaired with nuts and bolts. We just felt it's time to get a replacement. For £30 you can't go wrong. I haven't need to to tighten anything up on it for about 10 years so it may need tweaking for the first 5 is uses. Fingers crossed this one is as well built as our first one. Fingers crossed to another 12 years.

Had one of these ages ago and used it all of the time until I switched to a gas BBQ. Wanted to have the option of cooking with coals so bought this again and a thermometer so I can use it for smoking and slow cooking. Perfect size and great to clean and store

Dieser kleine Grill ist Klasse. Einseitig benutzt bietet er genug Platz für 6 Würstchen + 1 Scheibe Fleisch. Kompakt kommt er daher so das es keine Probleme beim Verstauen gibt ( wir sind Motorsport Camper ). Stellgrund gut aussuchen. Es wir sehr warm unterm Grill ! Fazit : Vollkommen Ausreichend der kleine Kerl ! PS : Und wenn er kalt und leer ist kann ich Ihn sogar als Buschtrommel benutzen :) :) :)

Il barbecue risulta molto comodo per via delle dimensioni ridotte, per due persone accendo solo una griglia e chiude il coperchio ottimizzando il calore, il consumo della carbonella così è ridotto, per quattro persone e più basta aprire totalmente il coperchio e usare anche la seconda griglia, veramente comodo. Materiale abbastanza generosi e di ottima qualità, per non farlo rovinare bisogna conservarlo preferibilmente in una sacca o in una busta isolato dal sole e dall'umidità, infatti bisogna lasciar sfreddare e spegnere il carbone da solo senza usare acqua. In conclusione sono soddisfatto lo consiglio, sta perfettamente nel baule del mio camper, rapida accensione e via. Unico punto dolente i piedi non sono estendibili quindi o si poggia per terra o su una zona rialzata come un muretto o un tavolino.
