A very lovely Lapsang free of that kippery taste, but to buy 500g would cost me a whacking great £85 because I have no choice but to buy it in 100g bags - at an enormous cost of £17! Come on suppliers, make this tea available in 500g and 1 Kg bags but at DISCOUNT PRICING. It's just so unfair.

Poor flavour, it doesn’t have that lovely distinctive smoky flavour

Delicious smokey flavour. Loved it when it is brewed for a couple of minutes Best thing is you can add some milk but this tea is better without milk and needs nothing more added to it

Tasted like it had been opened a year ago! All flavour had gone. Zero smokeyness to the lapsang. Huge disappointment considering the price.

I made my tea this morning and it was awful and not lapsang suchong. It doesn’t smell or taste like lapsang. I will not be buying from this company again. I have had lapsang from other sellers and have been really pleased. This stuff has Lapsang Suchong black tea on the label.

Although I regularly buy lapsang this brand is not to my taste with little smokey flavour

Used this for a recipe to marinate turkey overnight. You mix it with salt, rub it all over the turkey and under the skin of the breast. Let it rest overnight uncovered in the fridge. Cook it the next day. Perfect! Gives it a nice smokey flavor. You can add soy sauce and maple syrup to the pan drippings for the gravy. It's a nice Asian, smokey flavor. The recipe comes from Milk Street. Very easy and simple and the turkey comes out great! Highly recommend. I did it for Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Questa recensione sarà un po diversa da quella degli altri in quanto al momento "Purtroppo" ancora non l'ho utilizzato per il suo scopo principale, ossia come The da bere. Lo sto usando molto però per alcune preparazioni in cucina, affumicature, speziature e marinature. E' veramente un prodotto fantastico per la quantità di utilizzi che ci si possono fare. Come ultima applicazione l'ho utilizzato all'interno di una pastella per frittura, che gli lascia un retrogusto affumicato veramente particolare. Non posso più farne a meno

Strong Black Tea taste with a slight smoky-ness, very nice be warned though that the '2-100g' option is 1 bag of 100g, bit misleading
