7 WEEK Update: The blanket is still working like new! I usually keep the heat setting on "L", which is #1, the lowest. (It goes from 1 to 10). The highest I've had it up to was 4, and it warmed me FAST. The only negative I have is the sherpa condition. The area of sherpa exposed to me, and not under the bedspread, is not longer fluffy and soft. (The photo shows the sherpa constantly buried under a bedspread on the left, and the sherpa on the right is the sherpa exposed to human touch. NOW, I will say though, that ALL sherpa on blankets Ive owned, have done this and this quickly. So, given this, I still give this blanket a 5 out of 5 star! Feb 2026 This electric blanket is ALL I was looking for, a definite 5 Stars!!!! (I have purchased many electric blankets on my life) This electric blanket: Heats up very quickly, almost instant. The lowest setting is all I need. Is Very soft, on both sides. The wires are small and not bothersome. It has a 12 hour timer. Controller is Easy to use. It is quality made. I have two negatives: one is that even when not on, this blanket is very warm! This may be a positive for some!! The second is there are 24 inches on each side of without heating wires. For my one person bed, this is perfect. If you are wanting heat for a two person bed (a full size mattress or bigger) then do not buy this blanket. (To be clear, I bought the full size blanket for a one person (single) bed.

I have purchased 3 of these blankets ..they are wonderful ..heat quickly...super soft and cozy. Even after I shut it off and get up in the middle of the night . I come back and crawl under this blanket. It still warms you just enough to fall back to sleep ..I LOVE THEM!

Very soft and comfortable. It does keep me warm. I'm using it for when I relax on the sofa so I have no idea how it would work while sleeping. Timer works well. Settings are easy to follow. Doesn't get blazing hot but you will feel the heat on the highest setting. Very easy to set up. I attached and detached the plug from the blanket very easily. Very well made. It does have a lot of tags, which I am guessing are required by law. I haven't washed it yet, but it seems like it would wash well. Nice enough to give as a gift. I'm tall so I wish it was a bit longer.

I don’t do reviews but I could not resist with this blanket. I’ve bought many many electric blankets in my life and this electric throw is absolutely top-notch. It has a wonderful look to it and is very puffy and comfortable. I’ve never purchased anything like it and the control is easy to use also. You won’t be sorry with this purchase. It would also make a wonderful gift.👍👏🏻

Just received this and have only taken a short nap under it but it was warm and toasty. I have it on a queen mattress because I wanted only one control. The heating elements seem to cover me so it works just fine. I took temps on high on the outside of the blanket and it ranged from 99 to 94 so it seem plenty warm. Only 4 out of 5 start because of no longevity yet. If it lasts in is 5 out of 5.

Great heated blanket. I read other reviews that said it does not get hot, that even the box says it is only a "warming" blanket, but I found that it gets plenty hot. Granted, I do have it set to 6, which is the highest level. I also keep my flat sheet & comforter over it so maybe that helps retain the heat, but it is seriously Toasty! I also seen another review that talked about how bad it shed. I was kind of scared to buy it after reading that, but mine does not shed, not even a little, so I am very happy about that. It is also very soft and plush and super comfy as well as beautiful. Absolutely thrilled with this "Warming " blanket :-) The only con I have seen so far is the automatic shut-off. I have noticed a couple of times after the time was up the blanket did not seem to shut off on its own. I could be wrong, I'll have to look at it further. As a side note, I am more than thrilled with the Amazon Delivery. Rain was expected & I had several packages coming so I left a plastic "tarp" with a note & they actually covered my packages under them so they wouldn't be soaked by the time I got home. genuinely cannot believe it took me 24 years of life to buy a heated blanket because where has THIS been?? this is easily one of the best purchases i’ve ever made and i’m not even exaggerating dude first of all, the leopard print? obsessed. it’s so cute, SO soft, actually thick, and the perfect size for sleeping or just throwing on the couch and rotting in peace. it's way better quality than i expected and im so glad. i used to sleep with a heating pad every night like a peasant… this is a full lifestyle upgrade. and let me just say; this thing gets HOT. not that fake “it’s kinda warm i guess” heat… like actual warmth. wakes you up drenched in sweat on setting 6 type heat. the different settings actually feel different too which i love. the quality for the price? insane. and the cord situation?? it literally locks in so it won’t randomly disconnect in the middle of the night (whoever designed that, i love u). also feels safer because there’s no “stay on,” just 2, 4, 8, or 10 hour timers. i’m not kidding when i say i want to buy 20 more. if you’re even slightly considering this, just do it. your life will change. ONLY complaint: the big ugly safety tag is on the FRONT like why would you do that to me 😭 but whatever i’ll survive. buy this freakin blanket yall

Was looking for a heated blanket for camping cuz my guy hates the cold. Out of 4 heated blankets we plugged in to see if it would work this was the one. It heated up in about 20 min. Stayed warm, soft and the timer is handy. Wish it got a little warmer like the heating pad but it's the best I could find.

I found the blanket of good quality and it has helped me keeping warm at night for 2 years. Unfortunately one controller's electronic board recently failed. But as other providers generally provide only one-year warranty (which is often nominal only as warranty claims are often hindered using unethical techniques), Westinghouse provides a 5-year warranty and agreed to provide a reasonable compensation.

A soft, cozy blanket. Plush on one side and Sherpa on the other. The heat settings from 1-10 means there should be something for everyone. The timer feature is good for me so I don’t cook myself when I fall asleep with it on. 😉
