Whats the different between this product and a SDS drill product?

The chuck system, an SDS has a pull back and lock, this has a standard chuck that you twist to tighten or untighten.

I have just purchased the 700 model and found that it can’t drill into bricks or concrete easily when in hammer mode. The chuck is holding tight
