no its definitely a reddish/brownish burgundy. These polishes are delivered ferry quickly and cheaply btw.

This is excellent for shoes but I would not recommend using it on leather accessories, clothes or furniture as regardless of how long you polish it there will remain a chance that the colour may come off and onto clothes etc. If you look for 'Saphir Canadian' - this product is suitable for your handbag.

Would this be ok for wine doc martins

The closest match would be the original cherry Doc Martens. I used the polish on slightly darker shoes and it did not affect the colour. If Wine is a lighter colour of red then I would use a nutral polish.

will this work for cherry red Dr Martens?

This is a dark red polish and probably not the same colour as your Dr Martens cherry red - it will protect the leather but change the colour.
