Love this brush! My hair gets very matted and this brush does a great job and sorting it out even more so than my other detangle brushes.

My daughter has 2c-2d curly hair, every morning is a hassle of trying to brush her hair even with detangling spray. We noticed the brushes and combs we were using had small chips in so her hair was getting caught and causing pain and breakage. So to google i went searching for the perfect combs and brush for a pain free hair brush in the mornings. It came up with a few which i will also be reviewing. This brush is quite scratchy but it does the job of smoothing her hair to put in a ponytail bun for gymnastics she hasn't complained so far of it hurting. Being a denman is it great quality. Its not too big or heavy but just the perfect size for when she wants to brush her own hair and it has been leaving her hair with an amazing shine. Also she loves the pink colour

Where has this brush been all my life!This brush is brilliant.I usually spend around 10 mins or so detangling my hair after washing - thats after a really good quality condituoner, and detangling spray.(My hair is fine but lots of it, but my word it tangles after washing).This brush is exceptional, it just glides through the hair and massages the scalp at the same time. I didnt think Id ever find a brush or comb that would make any difference, and its not from trying again and again.This will make such a difference.The only problem with having purchased from this seller is the amount of days it took to delivery from despatch despite it being 2nd class business post.I highly doubt it was despatched on the day stated.Secondly comms were non existent.1st message to seller not reponded to. 2nd eepeat question after 48 hrs not responded to either.Will just pop down my local high street for my next hairbrush from Denman, less hassle and pretty much same price.

My son has long, thick hair down to his waist and has had a right time of it recently with his hair. He's hit puberty, and with the changes going on, he's had changes occur to his skin and hair. His skin is fine, but his hair has gone from wild bed head to snarl city. He made the mistake of going to bed with his hair unbraided and slightly damp, and it dried into this massive matted mess that we thought would require cutting, it was that bad. I've tried it all, traditional detangler combs, utangling by hand, you name it, as it was on a day to to basis he'd wail a bit over hair brushing that thick mass but this had him actually considering letting us cut it without resistance because he knew it would be a screamfest otherwise. How bad am I talking? Waist length hair so matted that it barely passed his lower shoulder blades. Ummm...yeah...I took a chance and put on a deep conditioning treatment (mayo, olive oil, and avocado) and let it sit overnight. I ordered this brush I kept seeing as recommended. Amazon delivered it next day (Prime), in time to wash the hair treatment out. I took creme rinse and water and made a spray. I eyed the brush. I picked up the detangler comb. No dice. It yanked. I picked up the brush. Wait...what? Less than half an hour later, there we sat. NO TEARS AT ALL. Only a small amount of hair had to be cleaned from the brush as we went. No horrific yanks, just a simple glide. His hair smooth and without damage. Three days on, he's remembering to braid his hair at night, but he's also using the brush and says it is the most comfortable brush ever. His hair is still smooth and shiny. So, gotta recommend this brush big time. Can get it in blue as well with dolphins on it. Son went for pink, matches his Hello Kitty themed stuff (he has a black HK hairdryer with pink HK on it, so this co-ordinates).

Best brush ever

Purchased for my daughter who is a 9 year old reluctant hair brusher due to sensory needs!! Her hair is medium thickness and straight but has recently got very knotty and coarse as she only wears it down.I searched high and low for the best brush after trying several typical “detangler” brush brands and copious amount of deranging spray so settled on this one and I’m so glad I did!I was worried about how “spikey” she might find it on her scalp but 2 weeks in and no issues and the brush works wonders getting the knots and matting out of her hair both when wet or dry.Love the size and lightness of the brush making it easy to use - will definitely be purchasing another as a spare for swim bag/holidays etc.

Da quando ho scoperto queste spazzole è un mio mai piu senza. Perfetta per districare i capelli voluminosi e folti (mia figlia ne ha moltissimi e poco mossi) e per lei è molto piu facile eliminare i nodi senza dolore. Ottima anche sotto la doccia. La abbiamo sia in versione classica che mini ed entrambe sono molto molto valide.

Ho-lee-shiiiiii*. I have long (small of the back or so) hair, extremely thick, and it curls like crazy. Mad crazy. For a bad example, I've attached a photo of me doing my best Samara impression.Brushing my hair has always been a nuisance. I used the Denman styling brush for years after having my former gf gift it to me on Christmas. It never really did a good job on removing the tangles. When I snapped the handle in half, and set out to buy a new brush, I looked checked around for something meant for hair that spends more time tangled than straight. I found the Denman Tangle Tamer. I don't care that the version I got was hot-pink. I saved a few bucks on a brush that I wasn't sure would even work.But it DOES work. It works like freakin' magic. Super amazing magic. Don't question it, just take it from a person with thick, curly, tangled hair--magic. It works out the tangles amazingly quickly, gets all the broken strands out (and there's a lot of those), and has been able to handle the volume of my hair. Brushing was such a horrid experience that before I got this, I was about to chop the ponytail for donation, then shave my head. Was so done with the time and pain of brushing the tangles. Now...now I may never cut my hair again.

I gave relatively tight curls and my daughter's hair is wavy/curly so it tangles very easily. But this brush works like magic. I only wish it was a tiny bit wider and longer... so I gave it to my 4yr old daughter, but I use it on my hair right after the shower anyways and it detangles it in minutes. No hair breakage. I recommend this!
