How is the cheapest portable monitor on Amazon this good?!
This is an amazing device for the price. It works in every way I could want and then some. Bought as a floating display to use for laptops, raspberry pis, or when working on a normally headless server. It will absolutely meet those needs. Because of the price, I think it's worth confirming all of these features actually work: * Full HD resolution * Single cable operation: when connected via USB-C to a host device (PC/tablet/etc) capable of outputting video over USB-C, the monitor gets power and video over a single cable. * Power Delivery pass-thru: When connected to a laptop by USB-C and with a USB-C PD charger/hub plugged into the power port, the laptop is able to negotiate power delivery and charge at full speed. I don't know what the power limit is, but it's at least 45W. * Power over HDMI. This one shouldn't even be possible as the spec says you can only pull 300mA over HDMI, which shouldn't be enough to power a display, but it powers this one. Probably won't be able to pull enough power from every HDMI device, but it will apparently find enough with some of them. I'm watching it do so right now as I write this review. Single cable operation with HDMI. Wow. * Speakers. They aren't great. They don't get very loud. But, it has them. I missed this before ordering and was pleasantly surprised as they've already come in handy. They work over USB-C, over HDMI, and even over the crazy single cable HDMI mode that shouldn't work. Picture quality is decent overall. A very small amount of softness/"fuzziness" at native resolution when compared side by side to other displays I have. Text is very readable despite this. Probably wouldn't noticed if I wasn't comparing side by side with much higher cost screens. Contrast ratio is... meh. Gets pretty bright. I had zero dead pixels. Pros: * Build quality. Somehow it's an all-metal enclosure at this price point!? This has a minor downside (see Cons) but is mostly a huge positive. Extremely light weight, but stiff since it's all metal. Feels higher quality than I'd expect twice the price. * Matte screen. Not much glare here. * Single cable modes: USB-C and HDMI (!!!). * Power over 5V USB. When HDMI power isn't enough, you can power it off of almost any USB power source. Includes a 5V USB-A wall wart just in case. * Includes cables. USB-C to HDMI, high-speed USB-C to USB-C cable, and USB-A to USB-C cable (for power). * Extreme value. Cons: * Cover/stand. Folding cover is clever, but ultimately makes a poor monitor stand. Also, no mount points so making your own arm for this will not be straightforward. * Very electrically sensitive. Everything appears to be grounded to the metal case and touching it with any sort of metal (like while plugging in a cable) or touching it with any amount of static build-up will always cause the screen to flicker and often makes it do a full power cycle. It has always come back for me after a couple seconds, but it's both annoying and slightly concerning. * I'd always appreciate more inputs and maybe even an integrated USB hub. Absurd asks at this price, but I didn't previously think any useful portable displays could exist at this price so I'm going to dream. Conclusion/TL;DR: Literally the cheapest portable monitor I could find on Amazon. I thought for sure it was going to be a disaster at this price, but somehow it's fantastic. I hope it holds up. Sure seems like it will, unless I lose it to a minor static discharge.

Amazing product
For me nothing is better in image quality than PPI and color. These monitor worth the price. It's really cheap for a great image quality. I can say it has great image, bright colors, good contrast amazing resolution in 130hz. It's not 120hz it's 130hz. Great. Has freesync and it work very well. I didn't try hdr. Never use it. But it show the feature. I can't say how good it is. Sound is not amazing. But works perfect with a headset/earphone. Just 2 days with it. So, I can't say anything for a long term. Only think I miss is a sharping option at menu. Like others monitors and tvs. But I can use AMD adrenalin for these and the quality is greate. I'm a fan from portable monitors. That is my second one. You guys never disappoints. This 16" screen size is perfect. Really big for a portable, really small for a monitor. The resolution is perfect too. Sharp enough but is not gpu demanding like 4k. Tested a lot of games. Some games I have to play in 1440p. I have no problem with back bars when playing in just 2k. With a RX 7900 XT I can play every game on ultra above 100fps. It's like a super steam deck in my desk.

Excellent Portable Monitor for the Price
Review for SVANTTO IPM126 2k 16" Portable Monitor Unboxing The Monitor comes with a User Guide. A 20W brick that supports 5V, 9V, and 12V that could be used for other devices. Includes two, USB-C to USB-C cables and one HDMI to Mini-HDMI cable. The monitor is wrapped in a protective case that doubles as a stand. Nice to see that it wraps the whole monitor. The case should provide good protection. The case attaches to the monitor via magnets that makes removal and installation easy. Monitor: The monitor is a 2560x1600 16:10 display. With 400 nits of brightness, FreeSync, and near universal compatibility through USB-C this monitor aims to please, and I was pleasantly pleased with the purchase. The On-Screen Display (OSD) offers lots of configuration options. Pictures are attached with all settings. You'll need to dive into these to get the perfect setup for your scenario. The OSD is navigated by a button and a rocker switch on the right side of the screen. This works okay in my experience. The monitor color calibration out of the box seemed alright, I haven't had time to calibrate it yet, but initial impressions seem that it is okay. All color settings are available to the user in the OSD. I used UFO Buster to test the ghosting and blurring and was pleasantly impressed by the results. Very little ghosting and definitely running at 120Hz like advertised. I purchased two of these monitors and neither came with any dead pixels and an acceptable amount of black light bleed. The speakers are alright. They get decently loud and do not sound terrible. There is good stereo separation. MacOS Monitor works with MacOS fine, but this is why I deducted a star as the user experience with the monitor could be improved. My M1 Max MacBook Pro can power the monitor without external power, but the monitor is limited to '20' brightness. Turning the brightness up too much causes the monitor to power cycle and reset to '20' brightness. The user guide details the monitor should always be used with external power, but it does work without. MacOS supports 60Hz, 120Hz, 130Hz over USB-C as well as HDR and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR). VRR must first be enabled in the On-Screen Display. VRR is not supported over HDMI. MacOS resolution scaling of the monitor is quite broken. MacOS Display settings always defaults to a non-standard resolution. Selecting 'Default for Display' doesn't work correctly and the monitor scales to a font too big for the 16inch hi pixel density monitor. It is possible to configure it correctly, but it doesn't do that resolution by default. Find something that works for you, because the 2560x1600 (2k 16:10 resolution) resolution doesn't scale well in MacOS. Not sure if this MacOS or SVANTTO firmware issue. Windows The story for Windows is very similar to that of MacOS. I was unable to test the monitor with USB-C in Windows as I don't have a windows device that supports Display over USB-C. Using HDMI yielded no VRR and the monitor was not detected as "G-Sync Compatible". This isn't a feature that it advertises so that is a nonissue for me. The monitor was easy to configure to a comfortable resolution and scaling behaved as expected. HDR Don't buy this monitor for HDR. 400 Nits of brightness isn't enough for a good HDR experience, but the Monitor does support it over HDMI and USB-C. If you do use HDR, be sure to configure HDR to 'auto' in the OSD or the colors will be very washed out. As a screen this monitor is great. It looks sharp, has great colors, and checks my boxes for portability. It has HDR, high refresh rate, and Variable Refresh Rate. I played some video games on it and the experience was good. I would definitely recommend this monitor to anyone. The only issue with this monitor is the software/firmware. I would love to see some fixes for the MacOS usability so that scaling is handled correctly. I looked online for new firmware but couldn't find any way to update the software on this monitor. I hope this is a feature I can do in the future.

Design Details Separate SVANTTO in a Sea Of Clones
I had no idea thin, light, portable monitors existed or were generally so reasonably priced. And then I discovered a sea of clones with similar product pictures, similar prices but different names and, more importantly, different ratings. How to choose? The first thing that attracted my eye to SVANTTO was their unique product shot. A dozen other same size screens look as if their's were made from a single image with slight mods made in Photoshop! Customer reviews of the look-a-like clones tell tales of woe about poor construction for several other brands. On the SVANTTO page is this quote "[Exclusive Appearance Design--The Chief Designer Do Himself] SVANTTO IPM01 has a unique and elegant appearance, from the drawing design to the finished polishing is all handled by DR.Alexander." And further down the page their company goal is "Make Office Fun". Forget the grammar errors and focus on the message. Even though I was expecting to like the device, I was surprised at the level of quality and attention to detail. The magnetic stand works really well and doubles as a padded magnetic screen protector for travel. It feels like someone took the time to make a more interesting, better finished, better looking product than all the look-a-likes. Admittedly I chose SVANTTO because of their marketing and design — and it is a few $$ more than the least expensive 15.6” panels — but I was rewarded with a bit of style and attention to detail that stands apart in a crowded sea of clones.

Won’t work
UPDATE: This monitor worked great for the first week. After the first week the monitor would go into sleep mode and when it does, it will not wake. I would have to turn off my Xbox, restart it and try to power on the monitor. It would work sometimes and sometimes it wouldn’t. Today I tried to use the monitor with my Xbox and it powers on and immediately turns to a black screen and will not work. I tried all the troubleshooting suggestions from Amazon and it still will not come on. I’m returning this monitor ASAP. There’s a video review of the exact issue that I’m also having. Run from this one. I purchased this for use as a second monitor with my laptop. It works great and is very easy to set up. I have also used this on my Nintendo Switch. It works great and the picture is so nice. I’ve also used this on my new Xbox Series S. I got the monitor and Xbox from Black Friday deals and they work perfectly together. I love that everything that you need to use the monitor on a laptop, Xbox and Nintendo Switch is included in the box. The manual is also easy to follow. The only thing that I wish was better was the stand it comes with. It’s really thin and the monitor will fall down if it’s moved even a little. The stand should be weighted because the monitor is much heavier than the stand so it topples over easily. I wish this came with a longer power cord. It’s only around 3 feet long. I’m sure I can find a longer cord here on Amazon. I’m really happy with my purchase. I contacted support when I first got this because I didn’t know how to hook up the Xbox. I somehow missed the HDMI cord. I contacted the seller and received a response within 24 hours. Very happy with this purchase.

Great Space Saver
Got this to save space for my work laptop. Very happy with my purchase. Ran into a few troubles for some reason it kept flickering off and on for a few days then suddenly stopped. Don't know what that was all about. Also the volume is a bit low, I have a hard time hearing my meetings through it, and it doesnt help that it also has a "tinny" audio quality, so I suggest using your computer's speakers instead of the monitor's. It does occasionally slip off the stand it comes with, so you might want to invest in a better one. Kind of annoying that all the plug connections are on the left instead of the right, seems a bit awkward, but that's my personal peeve. Cords it comes with are a bit short so I have to have my laptop nearby. I don't use it for gaming much but it does have a crisp and smooth quality when I've played FFXIV and WoW on it. Good purchase for the money, can't complain. But other than that, love the monitor.

Pretty good item for the price (read about my idiocy below)
Full disclosure: I'm an idiot. So, I got it primarily because I wanted to just have an extra screen for my laptop that I use for work. My laptop normally lasts about 12-14 hours (System 76; Lemur Pro). Plug and play was super easy. When I did so, it worked immediately. I went to the settings to change refresh rate from the 60hz default (59.98hz) to 120hz and it worked fine. You can tell the higher refresh rate is working since the mouse movements look smoother (I use a 240hz screen at home for playing games on my desktop). Anyways, I am an idiot for 2 reasons. 1. I didn't understand how the "smart cover" worked so was just using it vertically...because it stood up on its side easily enough. My wife then looked at the pics and it became obvious. Sort of wish the instructions had a little section about how to use the smart cover....but I also get that once I realized how to use it...it's so obvious. 2. The battery impact...it's enormous. I'm not sure if it's just the fact that it's a second screen and my OS (Pop! OS) isn't using power effectively (it does warn in my settings that fractional resolution would increase power use...) but my battery life dropped massively. I usually charge it once every few days. My estimated battery life went to about 50%. I guess if I drop resolution AND display frequency it would get much better life expectancy.... But...but....the beauty... Anyways, it doesn't seem like a cheap item (but was...$120? I forget). I'd recommend it though I only have experience with just this. I wish there was a battery on board but that'd increase the size and weight. So I get why there isn't. I'm debating about returning it only because of that massive hit to battery life....but having a second screen for work is nifty!

Good for travel, but not all that sharp
I bought this to use as a travel monitor when I’m working remotely from somewhere other than home. I spent my time in spreadsheets and writing some code. It was helpful to have it to replicate my monitor set up at my desk, but the image was not all that sharp, especially next to my MacBook Pro. It worked fine with one cable plugged into the laptop and will be just fine when I travel, it’s really lightweight!

Amazing screen for your phone or laptop/desktop
First, the packaging is on point. Provides you everything you need to start using the screen right away. Comes with screen protector, a stand, hdmi to type c, type c to c and of course power cable. It is portable. Easy to travel and setup for use. Second, the resolution is creesp, I used it as a Samsung dex screen and also as laptop extension...both AMAZING.

Excelente producto

Works great!
I purchased this monitor to replace my 13 inch portable monitor. I used this with my 14 inch Macbook M1 pro, so far its working flawlessly. I used it with an app called BetterDisplays so I get the right resolution support.

Great duplicate screen for the money
Wow this screen is thin ,colorful and the picture quality exceed my expectation. For a large screen like this I expected it cost me much more then this price. Very useful when I keek my daughter calming down by putting a movie ( controled by my old spared android) or even doing karaoke with extended screen. Worth the money spending instead too much monney for a large screen laptop!
